The Biggest Loser, Nov. 27th - Burying It For Good

Except for the 'Tude

The last episode of Biggest Loser before the finale opens with Bob saying it's the last week in the house, and he only has one person left ... Neil, and Neil thinks the entire four members of the black team are marching around like they have the whole game in the bag. He's not going to rest, though, and says it's not just about him or Bob, but all the blue team members. He knows the finish line is right in front of him and says he's ready for the full out sprint over the finish line.

Jillian takes the remaining four black team members to the beach to remind them of day one with her. When Julie looks back on her time here, the person she sees from the first day is unrecognizable to her. She's changed so much, and is happy with it. She was weak, but is now strong. Hollie is most amazed not by her physical transformation, but mental transformation. She was crying on the first day, thinking she couldn't do it, but now there is no fear.

Isabeau never thought she'd be here when she saw the bus drive away after not originally being picked. She's not afraid anymore either. Jillian asks if she wants a first class ticket home, and she replies no, she wants a first class ticket to the finale. After living his entire adult life being obese, Bill says the game has given him the strength and knowledge to know he can do it. Jillian reminds them they went from the six not chosen to four of the five last standing.

Bob puts Neil through a workout, taking him back to where he was on the first day. He shows him how much stronger he is now, and Neil feels there's nothing that can be thrown at him that he's not ready for. He agrees with Hollie that it's not just physically where they're stronger, but mentally too. They way him and Bob look at it is it takes a lot of work to get there, and he and Bob aren't going to let anything get in their way.

The final five meet Allison on the beach in font of a bunch of back hoes for their last challenge. For a Quaker Weight Control challenge, they're going to try to bury all that weight for good. Neil is still looking to win a challenge, and says he just has to do it this time. There are gigantic scales that they have to drag down a lane dedicated to them. They have to load the weight onto the scales that they have lost in all these separate weeks. Once they load all the weight, they have to bring it all the way back, then dump it in the pit, along with the scale, and raise their flag. Neil finds it symbolic of not wanting to get back to that point. The winner of the challenge will receive a prize to ease them back into the transition of going home for the finale, $10,000. Bill knows he's the guy to beat out there because he's done well in challenges and admits he's already counting the money. Isabeau has lost and gained back before, and really wants the weight buried for good this time.

Hollie is predictably in last place, and Bill and Isabeau are predictably in the lead, as they start out. Neil even gets to the week where he removes weight from his scale from his big gain, before going to the next week where he puts it all back on the scale again and then some. Isabeau is the first to get all the weight and begin pulling it back, but Bill makes a valiant effort to catch up to her. With Julie and Bill coming up right behind her, Isabeau is the first to make it to the pit to dump her weight, winning easily. Dumping it in the pit, she feels she's burying it for good, making Bill remark he's literally eating her dust. Symbolically, the others bury their weight as well, and Julie is overwhelmed thinking she literally carried this weight every day. It's the old Neil, he declares, and he's not going back.

It's last chance workout time, last last chance workout. It's just Bob and Neil, yet it's for every other blue team member, and Bob says they're all on Neil's shoulder. Neil does not want to give the black team the satisfaction of having all four of them make it. Jillian stands on Bill as he does horizontal pull-ups and is just pushing, pushing, pushing everyone. She does not want to hear I can't in week fourteen, but is hearing it from Isabeau. The last weigh-in is so stressful for her, and she says it's her hardest week so far. Jillian tells her this is where it can make or break you, and Isabeau says she will miss Jillian a lot, as she's been much more than a trainer to her. She doesn't quit in the end, and does it, just as Jillian wanted. She knows Jillian has represented hope to them and doesn't think she can repay her for that. Jillian is always right, and it's a little annoying.

Walking to the weigh-in, Isabeau is falling apart, knowing everything is all coming down to this one night. Hollie points out almost half of them are going to fall below that yellow line tonight. There can't be anyone that's more nervous as Neil, though, as if he falls below the line, he knows he's done.

It's Neil up first, saying there are a million things going through his head. As the last blue team member, the pressure is on more than it has been before. Yet, he feels confident. When he started, he weighed 421, and last week he was 288. This week, he makes it down to 278. He's probably a safe one to make it. This late in the game to lose 10 pounds, he's beside himself. He has had a double digit loss 11 of 14 weeks on the show. His percentage is 3.47%, losing 143 pounds throughout his time here. That's amazing and usually a finale total.
