The Two Coreys, Episode 5 - Rumble at Casa Feldman

Poor Susie. Every time she walks into her kitchen it's been trashed. I don't mean messy, but severley TRASHED. It's always Haim. Always, people, always. Or is it possible that the huge film crew they have living there might be responsible for the kitchen mess some of the time? Susie, did you ever ask them? Didn't think so.

Poor Haim. He just trashed Susie's kitchen in order to make Joanne breakfast in bed. He even shushes Susie as they pass on the stairs on his way to bring breakfast up. Poor guy. No clue that in the time it took him to make breakfast, Joanne has woken up, decided Haim can't commit, showered, dressed, and booked a flight leaving for England immediately. Susie's cranky about her kitchen, Haim's cranky about Joanne leaving. Things are not looking good for poor Feldman.

Susie talks Feldman into house hunting. Apparently the house A&E is providing just isn't "what they need". Maybe she means something smaller so that they'll stop losing little Zen. I bet she's hoping he'll turn up once they start packing. Or will they have to pack? Doesn't most of that stuff actually belong to A&E? Hmm... Susie is quick to squash any thought of Haim moving with them. She quickly flees the scene of a beautiful house when they see it has a guest house. NOOO! While the Feldmans spend the day house hunting, Haim decides to... take up painting?

Haim heads to the art store to pick up supplies, and of of course sets up Susie's kitchen as his art studio. As he's painting something that makes my two year old look like Picasso, Susie & Feldman get home. Uh-Oh. Susie sees the kitchen canvas, and proceeds to freak out on Haim. Can't blame her though. She's been cleaning up after Haim since day 1. Although, I'm still not convinced that SOME of those messes weren't from the film crew, but who am I to nit pick? Haim starts snapping right back. They all agree it would be best for Haim to go home.

As luck would have it though, while Haim is calling his cab, Feldman receives a call from his agent. Some movie guy has an idea for a movie and wants the Coreys. Feldman talks Haim in to staying one more day for the meeting. Haim agrees, because he needs work. I bet he does. This free ride from A&E isn't going to last forever ya know. They take the meeting. The pitch is a movie called The Line. The whole movie takes place in a line outside a Best Buy type store the night before the new big video game console is coming out. The Coreys play two of the guys in line. I was really hoping someone was going to resurrect the Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure franchise, using The Coreys. But, I guess this is cool too.

Both Coreys are interested, the only problem is it would mean Haim would have to stay. Feldman goes into the bedroom to talk to Susie privately. Susie refuses. Not only will she not allow Haim to stay in the house, but she doesn't want him to stay in the area. OK, now she's just being silly. Haim overhears and steps into the room. Things escalate and Feldman loses it when Haim calls Susie a bitch. I'm not sure why Feldman flipped out. I mean c'mon, it CANNOT be the first time someone has called Susie a bitch if you catch my drift. Anyhow, Feldman & Haim scuffle there in the middle of Susie's trashed kitchen. Susie finally breaks it apart. (The camera crew apparently too busy to help.) As dramatic as this all was supposed to be, all I could see was Haim as Lucas, and Feldman as Teddy in Stand By Me. I do enjoy this show, but am I really supposed to be taking any of this seriously? Haim calls a cab and leaves.

Could things between the two Coreys be crumbling at our very feet? They say the show returns in two weeks. Maybe they needed a cooling off period. Maybe Haim went to go stay wherever they sent little Zen when he started getting too messy. I'll guess we'll find out in two weeks.
