The Demise of Johnny V

Well kids, it's time for Doc Ali to finally meet the guys! It's about freakin' time. This week Doc Ali wants to take a closer look at the guys Scott spends all his time with. It doesn't take a professional to see where this is headed. Steve Coochio, who is engaged to be married to a woman with two little girls, Jason Hervey, who has been married with children for 9 years, and of course Johnny V. Whose life is all about Scott and sex. Apparently he can't have one without the other. So which one of these friends would you consider the bad seed?

Of course meeting the guys isn't Doc Ali's only assignment for the week. Since Cooch is about to step into the great unknown that is marriage, Doc Ali suggests him & Scott should get together with a set of twins (The Morrell sisters) that they had dated a while back. This would kind of give them a way to kind of both say goodbye to the life that they are leaving behind. The twins are of course playmates. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

First up, Doc Ali meets the guys. Cooch is planning a day at the beach with his fiancee and her little girls, so Scott decides this would be a great setting for Doc Ali to meet the guys. Of course, right off the bat her and Johnny come to blows. Doc Ali confronts Johnny about having his own agenda in regards to Scott and his therapy. Johnny denies it, after asking her why she is trying to wreck his time with Scott. I think I'm done with Johnny at this point. Every reality show has their resident jackass, but they usually hold on to some sort of lovable quality. Not Johnny. He's just... icky. Doc Ali comments that Johnny talks about Scott as if they were lovers. Gotta love the Doc.

Meanwhile, Cooch is introducing Scott to his future stepdaughters, and letting him know that they have set a date for the wedding. He also asks Scott to be his best man. Johnny claims to be Scott's BFF, but the tender moment shared between Scott & Cooch goes a lot further then anything we've seen between Johnny & Scott. It's obvious Cooch has no regrets about the path he's chosen, and it's the same path that Scott seems desperate to find his way to.

Next up, Cooch & Scott play pool with The Morrell sisters. I will not attempt to tell them apart, even Scott & Cooch couldn't. Scott gives the sisters the low down on the life coach and Cooch getting married. One of the sisters tells Scott the reason he's never been married is because he's never dated a girl who hadn't dated Hef. Hmmm. Interesting theory Blond Girl #1. She could be on to something. That night is Cooch's bachelor party, and when the sisters tell Scott that they're going to see some mud wrestling tonight he decides they should all stop by. This is where it gets good.

The guys show up at the mud wrestling place, and are happily celebrating. Cooch talks Johnny into taking his place in the ring to wrestle a couple of girls. Of course I will spare you all the details of Johnny in a speedo, have I already used the word icky? After his match Johnny proceeds to play around and hug Scott, covering him in mud. When Scott tries to diplomatically end the muddy hug, Johnny begins to get a little hostile. The situation quickly escalates, and Scott asks the cameras to stop filming. Jason steps in, and tries to get Johnny to let Scott walk away, which he eventually does. Not without really setting Scott off. Finally it seems that Scott is as fed up with Johnny as the rest of us.

The next day Doc Ali suggests that Scott take a break from Johnny while he tries to move into this next phase of his life. Scott agrees and is horrified at the thought of being 55 and still single, hanging out with Johnny. It's official, in order to keep going, Scott is going to have to break up with Johnny. Doc Ali comes along as back up while Scott meets Johnny for lunch. As he did the night before, Scott attempts to be diplomatic, and tells Johnny how much he means to him, etc. But that he can't live this life any more. Johnny, of course, makes no attempt to understand what Scott is trying to say and tells Scott he'll never stop living this lifestyle. Scott gets heated and asks Doc Ali to leave. He tells Johnny it's over, and leaves the restaurant. I found myself wiping a tear away, as Scott walked away alone. Then I remembered I hate Johnny, and let out a small giggle.

Next week is the big finale. So will Scott pop the question to Renee, or will he end up single... forever?
