Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women – Episode 4, Switch Hitters

Dustin came back and seemed to have a much-improved attitude. The teams went on a road trip to the Keystone Resort in Colorado. The challenge was a cross-country, winter relay. Before things got underway, the teams had to vote one member off. The Shady Lady Bunch voted Kimberley Locke to The Regulators. She was upset about that.

The men, of course, voted Dustin off. Dustin took it in stride. He admitted that he was the weakest link on the team and was happy with his new team in the end. Why? ‘Cuz Kim got to pick another team mate to move over to The Regulators. It was Da Brat. As Dustin said, “Couples gotta stick together.” Me-ow!

Dustin then chose Ross because Ross and Mo are friends. The new teams seemed to be happy with each other.

All is right with the world this week.

The Regulators beat the Athletes, the former Shady Lady Bunch, in the challenge by just 46 seconds. At this point, ANT mentioned that the teams would have their first-ever road trip weigh-in. Yeah! No big scales.

Cledus, who scares me more and more each week with his eating disorder, was weighed first. He had shed another 7 lbs and is down to 190. He’s lost a total of 24. He admitted to the panel that, while on tour, he jogs behind his tour bus trying to catch up with it. Stacy, the psychotherapist, told him that was not cool and he shouldn’t push himself, but Cledus basically replied that he’d do anything to lose weight. Help him, puh-lease! How many warning signs and red flags do y’all need?

I mean ANT...it doesn’t take Scooby Doo to solve this mystery! Cledus is anorexic.

Next week his target is 3 lbs.

Ross weighs in next. The Athletes—Mo, Tiffany and Dustin—have voted him as their team captain. Ross puts up big numbers. He’s down 7 lbs. too. He quipped, “That’s insane. I haven’t been 191 since I passed 191.” He’s so cute. He is thrilled not because he can get more dates but because he can “sleep with more people.” He’s a “chiseled love machine.” He even had Harvey laughing with that one. His next target is 3 lbs. You go, Ross!

Kimberley cried while being weighed. I usually do too, but she had a very significant reason. Her grandma died this past week. They buried her on her bday. Stacy told her to feel the grief and well, I didn’t need to get a degree in psychotherapy to give advice like that. Geez. Kim lost her target of five pounds. She’s down to 160 and looking good. Kim said she was glad she was voted off her team because she didn’t want to be on the same team as Dustin.

Duh! I think that’s why Mo and Tiff voted her off to be honest. They knew the other team was gonna chose Dustin.

Maureen took off five more pounds herself. She cried with Kimberley because she lost her mom a few years back and also buried her on her birthday. It always seems to happen like that. MO’s the leader with 15.3% of her body weight lost and only two pounds off her initial goal of 125 lbs. She’s a healthy 127 but wants to lose nine more before the end of the season much to the joy of Dr. Ian.

Da Brat only lost three pounds. She’s lost the least weight overall thus far and is a tough nut to crack. Notice, though, how no one’s as tough on her as they have been on Dustin. I’m just saying. Brat made an excuse about going home to Chicago and everyone cooks to express love—that’s unique—she’s not really sticking to the plan. The only difference between her and Dustin is that she’s paying the panel lip service whereas Dustin says, “I ain’t doing what y’all are saying.” Guess honesty counts for nothing.

Warren G feels like he can’t eat lots of foods on the plan. Dr. Ian says a diet isn’t about deprivation, it’s about eating sensibly. He wants to caution Warren about having a healthy relationship with alcohol. One drink can be enough. Warren says he wanted Dustin to go to the Shady Lady Bunch to work out his drama with Da Brat. He hates conflict. That worked out great, didn’t it? Anyway, Warren lost 6 lbs. and has to shoot for 5 more next time.

Tiffany shed five pounds and got into a slinky dress for a show. She feels like she’s losing energy. Harvey asks her why and discovers that she’s over-training. He wants her to talk with her trainer and tell him to cool it. I was really happy and surprised with Harvey. He even offered to talk to the dude himself. He’s really a teddy bear underneath those muscles, isn’t he?

Finally, Dustin got up to get weighed. He actually took off eight pounds. He’s down to an even 200. His target is 6 and that upset him, but Dr. Ian explained to him that this is based on their total amount for the show so sometimes it’s bigger if they don’t make their targets on previous weeks.

According to the previews for next week, the kinder and gentler Dustin goes away and really upsets the cast. There’s gonna be some major fireworks. I think I can wait. What about you?
