America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 8, Week 10: Mean Girls

It started with Renee’s cattiness and moved on to Dionne’s mean face to explode this week into ANTM: Mean Girls Edition.

This week’s photo shoot incorporated the aboriginal theme with the girls posing in line with a dance that they learnt. Jaslene gave it her fierce drag look, Dionne brought her mean face and Renee was amazing. Natasha was so out of it that her poses were straight out of “How Not to Model.”
Naturally, Natasha thought she did great.

Panel got a little brutal with Tyra asking each girl who has the most/least potential. Dionne said Jaslene has the most and Natasha has the least. Renee and Jaslene both chose themselves as most and picked Natasha as least. See a theme developing? Natasha continued to blithely smile through the character assassination and when it was her turn, she said that they’re just jealous and she’s ANTM.

We got to see the girls in the “holding room” during deliberations and Jaslene took the opportunity to let Natasha know that not only is she not threatened, she doesn’t even consider her competition. Way to let it go, Cha Cha.

The judges debated the merits of the girls’ issues with Natasha with Twiggy plugging for jealousy. Tyra was more worried about Dionne’s lack of self-confidence, choosing another girl over herself in the “most potential” race as well as her failing to improve in photo shoots. Jaslene was sure she would be bottom 2 and was shocked when she was chosen second. She was worried that she didn’t “brung it.” Really, could someone get these girls a dictionary?

In the end, they decided that Natasha was just being picked on by the mean girls and Renee’s little plan backfired as Dionne was sent home. Russians 1, US 0.
