And Take Your Tiara with You: Dancing With the Stars 3, Week 2 Results

If you’re a long time fan of Dancing, you know what a waste of time the results show usually is so I’m going to stick to the highlights. That means no mention of the Samantha Harris blah blah interviews or the contestants talking clichés. If it’s not funny, weird or silly, it’s as if it didn’t happen.

Joey and Edyta were voted most entertaining which is just a different way of saying best in show and they performed their quick step again.

The pro’s did a very Grease/Dirty Dancing group jive that I loved. Cheryl and Maksim got their sexy on while Julio Iglesias sang. And two pro’s we don’t know did a steamy tango showcase.

Tucker Carlson went “Behind the Sequins” and interviewed the judges. I was rolling when he said the they obviously fell in love with him but because he wasn’t good technically they were filled with self-loathing and had to give him low scores. When Len asked about getting kicked out Tucker answered that it was like euthanasia - sad but necessary. That even cracked the judges up. Then he tackled how they score and Carrie Ann gave a great analogy – performance and technique are ying and yang. Neither works without the other.

Finally, right before I was going to lose my mind, they announced that Shanna was going to be leaving. So I guess one national title will have to be enough for her. Good job, voters, but I know Bruno went into his dressing room and sobbed.
