Booty and the Beast - Real World Key West, Episode 21

Bad things happen when curfew is ignored

The theme for the episode should be "Get the booty then get the boot."

Janelle and her ex Kasib are fighting on the phone about whether or not he should come visit. Apparently, fighting is about all they do, so Janelle doesn't think it's a good idea for him to come. Kasib tries to tactfully persuade her otherwise with this sweet talk: "You're acting like a jackass for no reason."

That pretty much kills any further conversation and they just hang up the phone.

Janelle discusses the interaction with her roommates and tells them that she just can't stand the hot and cold relationship that she and Kasib have.

While Janelle's love life is on the cool side. Jose's is heating up. He's met a "good girl" named Jessica that he is starting to fall for. She's a friend of a friend that Jose met in Key West. And they spend the evening hanging out at the club.

On the way home, Zach questions Jose about the seriousness of his relationship with Jessica. "She's a bad ass girl. She's cool and it's early," Jose tells him.

Then Zach asks, "Does she know about Irene?" Huh? Who knew that Jose has an ex-girlfriend who still lives with him. And Jessica is as just in the dark about Irene as we viewers are.

The next day, Janelle calls Kasib and apologizes for her behavior on the phone. Instead of giving a return apology, he asks if she is going to be busy Saturday because he is still planning to fly out to see her. This time she doesn't protest.

Saturday morning she meets him at the airport and brings him back to the house to meet her roommates. Then they quickly make their way to the bed for a little slap and tickle under the covers.

When they get up that evening, Janelle is fixing them a bite to eat while they discuss their plans for the night. Kasib asks what his curfew is and Janelle tells him that HER curfew is 1:30 so he shouldn't stay out any later than her. He starts to tease her about it and say he wants to stay out later than that. She takes it very personally and gets pissed off. That starts a night full of attitude on her part.

At the club there are two story lines going on. Jose is trying to get Jessica to come back to the Real World house and enlists the help of a friend to persuade her to at least stop by for a visit.

Janelle, on the other hand, is pissed as she watches Kasib have a good time and even talk to other girls at the club. She is being quiet and standoffish, so I'm not sure if he is acting like that because Janelle isn't talking or if Janelle isn't talking because he's acting like that.

Before there is even time to figure that all out Janelle takes him out of the club and they argue outside and Janelle starts to cry. "If you're coming out here to visit me and you'd rather be out here instead of being with me, then I'm gong to be like 'what the f------?' " she says to him.

Back at the house, Kasib and Janelle argue some more over whether he invited some people over to the house. Kasib starts packing up his stuff and says he'd rather go stay at a hotel then deal with Janelle.

Tyler, who watches Kasib pack his bags and head to the door, has this to say about the situation: "Three hours ago you were on top of him all sweaty and kind of like moaning. All of a sudden you're down here saying you don't want him here? This is the most expensive booty call I've ever seen."

Kasib's move would have been smooth if all the hotels hadn't been full and he's forced to call her back in the middle of the night to see if he can stay at the house.

Janelle – now in the power position—is brutal to him.

When he calls, she tells him she can't pick him up because it's past curfew (which is true). He reminds her that it's 4 a.m., so what is he supposed to do?

"Why don't you go to the airport and try to get a flight home?" Janelle says to him. This really pisses him off. But he still says he is coming over anyway. She just hangs up on him.

Then he shows up outside the house and can't get past security. He calls her again. And this conversation goes even worse. They get into another argument that ends with her telling him that all she can do for him is call him a cab. He calls her a few obscenities and heads to the airport to spend the night at one of the gates.

Jose fared a bit better. His girl did come over and they had some nice conversation. Her ride had tried to sneak off so she would be "forced" to spend the night there but the plan didn't work because her ride forgot that she had the house keys. So Jessica did go home but Jose was still happy. And in fact was feeling a little guilty about Irene.

Later he gives Irene a call to make sure she understands that while she still lives with him they are really just friends. It's a sad conversation and Irene is obviously hurt by it.

In another room Janelle is telling Zach and Tyler that last night was the best night for her because she finally got tough with Kasib and didn't let him disrespect her. The boys listen and Tyler comes up with this funny, final quip.

"I'm glad I don't have to date you. I would last like maybe 10 minutes."

See Kasib. You did pretty good.
