“All about Kevin” – Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, Episode 2 By: Chloe In the beginning we’re shown a recap from Britney’s season premier. In two sentences Britney states what it took a whole hour to show - Britney was lonely – Britney wanted Kevin - Britney got Kevin. There. Now you’re up to speed with the rest of us. This episode starts off with Kevin being in the audience for her concert. Britney is very nervous with him there and really didn’t want him to watch. Then, why did you bring him with you Britney? The entourage moves on to Copenhagen, Denmark. Britney gushes, “I like him. He’s cute. He’s cute...etc.” You get the picture, right? She’s in the throws of true lust. However, her bodyguards do NOT like him. They do NOT think he’s cute. They think he’s a punk and would VERY MUCH like to get rid of him, but Kevin is persistent and works his way into the group. Eventually, Kevin wears Mo and the other bodyguards down. They can see the twinkle in Britney’s eyes and how happy she is now. She’s never in a bad mood. So if Kevin is good enough for the Boss, then he’s good enough for them. For now. While in Copenhagen, the group goes out dancing. Later we see footage of their ride in the car at night. The camera turns the picture a weird green, and eyeballs become vampire-like. The effect is ruined when Britney declares, “Someone farted!” I ask again, “Who edited this show? A ten-year old?” It’s time for Kevin History 101. Kevin grew up in Fresno, CA. His parents were divorced when he was young. In his teenage years, Kevin went to live with his Dad and later became a dancer. In fact, in the early years, Kevin, with his hair in fashionable corn rows, danced for Britney and her group, but she was too young at the time, so Kevin was not interested. Ye-ah. She’s so much more mature now. Fast forward back to Copenhagen, Denmark. Kevin and Britney are in the car again and we’re exposed to the spit of their kiss. Britney feels that a relationship is all about the kiss and Kevin has THE KISS. We’ll take your word for it, girlfriend. Britney, Kevin and Group move on to Zurich, Switzerland. Not much happenin’ there, just Britney and Kevin sliding across some table in their hotel room. Here is where Kevin begins his monologue on what he thinks of Britney. He likes to be around her ‘cause she’s fun. The last stop of the evening is Amsterdam, Netherlands. One of the crew shoots Britney while the plane is in the air. Britney is not a good flyer, and it’s a fact she readily admits. She once had a bad episode with a plane nose diving and has not been the same since. She freaks at the slightest noise, much to the amusement of her entourage. The teasing makes her mad and she emphatically states that “they’d better not do it again.” Once off the plane, Britney begins to sing “we’re off the plane…” for the next five minutes. The rest of the shots are with Kevin filming Britney as she puts on her makeup. He coerces her into answering some deep, relationship questions. Kevin: “How do you feel?” Britney: “Great!” Kevin: “Why do you feel great?” Britney: “The sex is great!” Kevin: “Is that all it is?” Britney: “I don’t know.” Kevin: “You don’t know?” Britney: "I don't know." Kevin: "Why not?" Britney turns to the camera: “Love is respect, honesty and commitment.” And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen.
