The Finals - Tommy Lee Goes to College, Season Finale
by Kay Sesay

Tonight's show begins with Tommy paying a visit to his academic advisor Dr. Gaye. In Dr. Gaye's office Tommy confides that he has some worries. The good old Dr. advises Tommy to stay calm and to pay a visit to the other professors if he has any questions.

Tommy first pays a visit to Fran Kaye (who's his English professor), to seek some advice on his essay for the final. Fran throws a barrage of questions Tommy should ask himself about the book and the main character.

While doing laundry Tommy asks Matt to help him out with his essay, and tells him that he doesn't think he'll do well in the Chemistry final. Matt gives Tommy some words of encouragement after a long pause.

In desperate need to try to make some sense of chemistry Tommy calls on Natalie to help him out. Tommy makes progress and they continue to study until some time past midnight.

The day has finally come.

The first final for Tommy to tackle is Horticulture 212. He has 10 examples that he has to identify by family, genes, etc. Tommy struggles a little in the beginning, but soon gets into the exam and ends with confidence.

Tommy sits in bed with his laptop getting ready to write his English essay. "What was all that stuff Professor Faye said?" Tommy asks himself.
What was the purpose of the book?
"I don't know!" Tommy exclaims.
"That's like asking me why I wrote "Girls, Girls, Girls"."
Ha ha! He continues to write his paper.

The following morning Tommy hands in his English essay, after which he heads off to the final he's been dreading the most - CHEMISTRY! He struggles through the exam with picture bubbles floating above his head of his mom, Professors, Matt, and Natalie. " This is rough stuff" Tommy opines.

With all finals complete Tommy seeks out each of his professors to bid them farewell. The chemistry Professor congratulates Tommy on giving chemistry a shot as it is a very tough course. Professor Fran Kaye wishes him good luck and "rock on." Tommy looks kind of shocked, actually I probably do too!

Tommy goes to the Chancellor's office for his report card. He thanks the Chancellor for trusting him enough to come to University, and for giving him a chance to experience University. The Chancellor replies that he knows Tommy took things seriously, meanwhile Tommy remembers his toga party. He finally gets the results of all his hard work: English C+, Horticulture B, and Chemistry (well A+ on the lab work, but only got 10% out of 100 on the final so he fails) F. Even with the failing grade Tommy is still proud of his achievements, and so he should be.

To say goodbye to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Tommy throws a huge all night party for faculty and students. The band takes part in the first song which is "You gotta fight for your right to parrrrty", which was amazing!

And just in case you were wondering, Matt ends up with a job at the Senate, and Natalie is accepted to Med. School. As for the faculty, they still teach at U.N.L.
