Interview with Gino Cafarelli of Average Joe 4: The Joes Strike Back

by Hildee Weiss Gino, thank you for talking to us at Reality Shack. What made you decide to audition for Average Joe 4? I was told it was a dating show. I wasn’t involved with anyone at the time. I thought it would be fun. What do you usually look for in a potential mate? I look for a person who is well-rounded with a great personality. She has to be fun and independent and someone who comes from a great family. What was your first impression of Anna? When I first saw Anna, I thought she was attractive. I was hoping she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was… How did you get along with the other Joes? How did you get along with the jocks? I got along with all of the Joes and all of the Jocks as well. What are some of your favorite memories from being on the show? Of course, the one on one date with Anna on the boat. She wore that beautiful dress. Just hanging in the house and getting to know everyone was fun. Do you have any regrets about your experience on the show? I have no regrets. I wouldn’t have done anything different. Where are you now, professionally and personally? Professionally, I am pursuing some acting, writing and producing film. I had a role on “The Sopranos,” playing Vinny Pitts. He is an associate who reports to Arthur Nascarella’s character, Carlo Gervasi. Carlo reports to Tony Soprano. My character appeared in episode 10 of the fifth season, “Cold Cuts.” I was very fortunate and honored to have been on the show. I thank creator David Chase. Hopefully, we will get to see more of Vinny in season six. Personally, I haven’t been swept off my feet yet. I’m just dating. Are you giving up the pest control business for acting? I no longer work as an account executive for that global pest company. I am looking to pursue some acting. I am currently studying at Michael Imperioli’s Studio Dante in New York City. Who do you still keep in touch with from Average Joe 4? I keep in touch with Clay, Igor, Chuck, Arthur, Carson and that stunning redhead. What’s up with your “How You Doin” clothing line?
