Big Brother 6 Live Feeds, July 23rd – Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

Warning: This article contains spoilers. Do not read further if you don’t want to know what’s coming up on Tuesday’s episode.

Can't you just hear Gomer Pyle yelling that title?

Today was definitely a day for surprises all the way around. Something tells me we aren't anywhere near the end of the surprises either. And just think, it's only week three!

Maggie is still flapping her gums, upset about being put up. I just love how she thinks she's the only one that has ever been put up. She's going around first thing in the morning upset and surprised that she was nominated for eviction. Yet, she had also approached Kaysar before nominations saying she knew she was going up. Huh? When you don't win, Maggie, it won't be that people played dirty; it will be that you couldn't keep your facts and lies straight.

Rachel and Eric are having their morning chat. He tries to talk his normal strategy, telling Rachel that James had better not win veto, as he knows eveyrone wants to vote to keep Maggie in by a landslide. She doesn't want to talk about it, and instead talks about the ants in the kitchen and the PB&J diet. Eric notices that a chess piece has shown up somewhere, so he believes it will be a "thinking" competition. Well, that leaves several of them out, and we know it definitely benefits Janelle, Kaysar and James.

Later, it seems the surprise of it all has rendered Eric speechless. Hallelujiah! Maybe Kaysar was praying for that. Eric is in the workout room with Rachel, and neither of them are saying a word, after the past few weeks of talking nonstop early every morning.

Eric talks to Kaysar and tells him if he wins the PoV he won't use it. He will leave Maggie up on the block as he's still sure that she will be voted to be kept in by a landslide. The rest of us are grinning ear to ear waiting for the reality of all of this to hit him.

To me, one of the most irritating things about Eric is his know-it-all-ness. Jenny walks into the kitchen asking if anyone would like to switch ovaries with her for the day. Apparently she has her period. Eric sits down with her and explains menstruation to her. Does he have to be an expert on menstruation along with fitness and healthy eating? Good God!

And that wasn't the worst of it. Then the conversation switches to birth control, and for some reason Ivette has definite opinions on it. Why would she need birth control? After this, they all then switch to discussing how to plan to have sex a certain way to be sure to have a male or female baby. Rachel knows what they do to the horses, as they'd rather have female horses since they're more marketable. Eric talks about his wife reading things about how to have a boy.

James and Howie discuss switching who is playing for who in the PoV. It had been agreed that James was going to let Beau think he was choosing him to play with him in the PoV, but at the last minute he was going to pick Howie instead. Kaysar was going to pick Janelle. Now they're thinking maybe Howie should play for Kaysar and Janelle for James.

Maggie still can't get over the fact that she has been nominated. She goes up to discuss it with Kaysar in the HoH room. She is upset that nine people will be deciding whether she is worthy of the money prize at the end. Gee, imagine how Kaysar felt a couple weeks ago when eleven people were going to be deciding his worth. He is still telling her she is only up because he wanted James out and knew Maggie would be safe.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for the PoV competition, but of course we only got views of the lovely fish tanks. We'll just have to wait until Tuesday's show to see how it all went down. We see James walking around sporting a lovely gold medallion around his neck, so we know he won and will be saving his own ass.

This is when the shit starts to hit the fan and all the surprises begin to be revealed. Ivette is so livid about being played this way, realizing now that James was really a pawn for putting Eric up in his place. She threatens to pack her bag and walk out of the BB house. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Eric is about to borrow Kaysar's underwear to crap in them.

Cappy tries to be the hero once again, and tells Maggie he's ready to go. He wants her to stay. Ivette is still ranting and raving about the turn of events. When she tells Sarah she had no idea Eric would be James' replacement on the block; she thought it would be herself, Sarah says it's because Ivette is a good person. Ivette wants to know what makes her think Kaysar, James and gang are good people.

For some reason everyone starts spilling the beans about the pairs in the house. I think it must just be because their guard is down after the surprising turn of events. Some are surprised that everyone is in pairs, but mostly everyone knew. April refuses to give up on the game though. Janelle insists she knows that Jenny and April are a pair, but April refuses to admit to it, and states everyone is a pair but them.

Ivette just can't seem to get over her clique not being in control. She asks how a group of three can overtake a group of nine. It's because they are smart people and sit down and plan it out, instead of putting people up out of revenge. Beau and Eric disagree about how it happened. Beau thinks Kaysar plays dirty, and Eric thinks it's James.

Kaysar and Janelle discuss Ivette in the HoH room. They can't believe she's screaming about how people aren't playing a fair game. Kaysar says those people never respected him in the house. They refused to listen to his opinions and Ivette even yelled at him. But now she's the one calling dirty play. She just doesn't get it. Kaysar went after the people that remind him of living life as an Iraqi in America. He's after the people that treat him as stupid or ignore him. He made an alliance with the people that treated him well.

Eric's clique sit around in the living room and discuss how to move on from here. The funniest thing is that even though they know Rachel and Howie are a pair, and that Howie is in tight with Kaysar, they still include Rachel in their strategy talk. She plays the fence pretty well.

Eric says he has deceived people, but only within the rules of the game and within his morals. He is upset about Kaysar swearing to God that he wasn't going to put Eric up. I'm not sure if that happened or not, since Eric likes to changes the rules as he goes along. Maggie says she's kept her morals intact, so no matter what, she's already won. Then leave now, Maggie, I guess you don't need the big cash prize.

Ivette is STILL freaking out. She is literally sobbing. She is talking so fast and blubbering, I'm not sure what her deal is. She does say everyone has someone else to play for, but her. She's upset about James lying to her as she thought they were so close. I'm not sure if she means she won't have a person she respects anymore in the house or what.

Eric, the firefighter/paramedic, says if he saw Janelle on the street he'd push her into traffic. That's nice. Maggie says Kaysar is going to meet his maker and she won't ever be his friend now. Funny, but you refused to be his friend before as well. Eric also keeps talking about the wrap party and how he won't talk to those people at the wrap party and he thinks his wife will refuse to go.

Janelle and Kaysar are in the HoH room again. They have really gotten closer, being the only two unpaired people at the current time. Janelle says she won't be sorry to see Eric go, and she's pretty sure America won't be either. She's right. Won't he be shocked when he gets out? He thinks he's everyone's hero.

Janelle decides to touch up her roots in Kaysar's bathroom. He is totally fascinated by the process. He is almost flirting with her. It made me wonder if she wasn't with his buddy Mike, if he would have taken it further than just a little playful flirting. She also offered to give him highlights, and he said no because his mom would kill him.

Maggie tells the backyard gang that she didn't have any clothes to bring with her because they all had either the fire dept. emblem on them or Las Vegas. How sad is that? She does have the good sense to tell Eric not to trash Janelle's physical appearance as that's not fair.

Ivette is STILL upset about the chain of events. She just can't get over it. She wants to know why Kaysar didn't tell her who he was putting up on the block. I think that would kind of ruin the point of the game, wouldn't it?

It was truly a great day to watch the feeds. We were due. There were some days the middle of the week last week when we had nothing. People are scrambling so much now, the rules are changing so rapidly, we have no idea what will happen tomorrow.
