It’s been hard to find this episode of the X-Factor. It aired on Sunday night after the episodes were juggled last week due to baseball playoffs on rain delay. So far, the X-Factor is seeming like a mix of American Idol and The Voice. They’re being put in ensembles to narrow down the finalists, yet after that, the judges will act as mentors to them. My only complaint is that some of the “chosen ones” don’t have “it,” and just have a good voice. One of the best things about watching the X-Factor is that it’s all new. That’s the problem with watching American Idol, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, etc. We’ve seen it all before and know exactly what’s going to happen, save for a twist here and there. The first night of auditions for X-Factor went pretty well last night. In some ways it was reminiscent of American Idol, but in other ways it was much different. It’s going to be a weird finale, as it seems many people are more interested in seeing the people who have been voted out than the final two. No one’s even as concerned over who wins, partially because they both get a recording contract and a car, and partially because they aren’t the favorite two of the majority of Idol fans.
