What’s Hot on TV Tonight – 4th of July Fallout

Tonight's programming is best described as 4th of July fallout. With the holiday in the middle of the week, programmers seem hesitant to put worthwhile shows on, believing no one would be watching. The problem is that much of the country has been experiencing a severe heat wave making it difficult to be outside. If it's too hot to be outside where you are today, here's a list of a few things worth watching.

1. 2012 Wimbledon Championships. Women's Final, Agnieszka Radwanska vs. Serena Williams. 8:00 AM CT ESPN

2. Kiss the Girls. A doctor escapes from a serial killer, then helps track him down. Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd star. 12:00 PM CT TNT

3. PGA Tour Golf. Third round of the Greenbrier Classic from the Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, WV. 2:00 PM CT CBS

4. Golf. Third round of U.S. Women's Open Championship from Kohler, WI. 2:00 PM CT NBC

5. Charlie's Angels. Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu take over the female detective roles that made Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, and Kate Jackson famous, and Bill Murray costars as Bosley. 2:00 PM CT Oxygen

6. Cheaper by the Dozen 2 This time, the family goes toe-to-toe against another clan in the ultimate inter-family battle. College football coach Tom Baker (Steve Martin) and his wife, author Kate (Bonnie Hunt) pack up the cars and take their sizable brood of 12 kids to Lake Winnetka for some camping. Tom is particularly annoyed when he discovers his old rival Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy) is also staying near the lake with his trophy wife (Carmen Electra). Hillary Duff stars as well. 2:00 PM CT Hallmark

7. MLB Baseball. In game 2 of a double header, New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox. 6:00 PM CT Fox

8. NASCAR Racing: Sprint Cup. Coke Zero 400 from Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. 6:30 PM CT TNT

9. NYC 22. In the first hour, Yoda reflects n his rookie days when a paroled drug lord from the era looks for revenge from the people behind putting him away, Tonya and Kenny raid a bordello, and Ahmad and White House help a guy in trouble with a loan shark. In the second hour, when Apple seems in danger during a bar robbery, Ahmad must think quickly. 7:00 PM CT CBS

10. My Cat From Hell. A once-cuddly kitten grows up into a feared cat, and a rescue cat resents a new kitten being added to the famiy. 7:00 PM CT Animal Planet

11. Dateline: Real Life Mysteries. In the first hour, two are left dead and another seriously injured after a fatal car crash that may not have been an accident. In the second hour, family members will be haunted for the rest of their lives over the truth behind a woman's disappearance. 8:00 PM CT TLC

12. Bad Dog! A beagle digs under the foundation of a home, and a cat steals fish from the freezer. 8:00 PM CT Animal Planet

13. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. A disgraced journalist and a security firm investigator try to solve a 40-year-old murder. 8:00 PM CT Starz

14. The Firm. Mitch and his team start jury selection while still planning Patrick Walker's defense, and Joey Morolto Jr. plans out how to get back control of his mob family. 9:00 PM CT NBC

15. Tanked: Unfiltered. A look back at the tanks built for a casino and an ice bar. 8:00 PM CT Animal Planet

16. Boxing. Junior featherweight competition between Nonito Donaire, and a super middleweight fight between Kelly Pavlik and Will Rosinksy. 8:00 PM CT HBO
