School Spirits, June 20 – Guardian Angel or Demon In Disguise?

The house itself is negative and contains negative emotion, but Caroline felt the complete opposite feelings from the man she saw. Caroline returned to the house and was getting ready for bed; her lights are flickering as she stands in front of her mirror. Something is in the hallway, and she reluctantly goes to check it out. She sees a sphere of static energy, sort of like Poltergeist.

She stands in horror and watches the sphere move closer and closer to her. It had a lot of power, and Caroline knew it wanted to hurt her. She grabbed her bible… okay now we’re talking! The bible! Yes get the bible. But wait… she felt powerless and she is not able to recite anything from the bible. The crazy energy sphere had taken over her.

The show actually makes you wonder if you see things that go bump in the night, could it be something otherworldly. This proves that there can be strange energy anywhere. Caroline decides the sphere is negative and the man she saw was different. The man walks through the wall and went in between the ball of energy and Caroline. Did he save her or is he working with the crazy sphere?

Whatever he did, he made the energy sphere go away and Caroline finally got some sleep. She woke up feeling different. The house didn’t feel like the same house. Caroline believed that when she asked the man for help, maybe whatever was in the house was now gone.

The girls all felt that way and they felt relived. They were all ready to talk about their individual experiences. They all sat down and went into depth. Nicole, Caroline, and Kristen all described seeing the same man, and now they did not feel insane. They had wanted to tell someone, but more importantly, they needed to know why and who it was that they saw.

Kristen discovered what happened in the house was the result of a fraternity. According to historian Wystan Stevens, it was discovered that the house formally belonged Joseph Jakob Walser and his family. Joseph was industrialist and a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Joseph lived in Ann Harbor in 1899, and was a graduate of the University of Michigan and his face was the one they saw, he built his dream home and he lived there with his wife and four daughters. He contracted tuberculosis and he had no treatment. He was pale and emaciated or a walking skeleton. Mr. Walser thought he should try to seek a more pleasant climate so he moved to Lakeworth, Florida and he left his four daughters behind as he took off with his wife.

He would never see his daughters again as Mr. Walser died at the age of forty two in 1921 on New Year’s Day in Lakeworth, Florida. Mr. Walser’s daughters were the same age of the girls in the sorority house. Their questions were finally being answered and Mr. Walser’s spirit may rest as they discovered that he was not there to hurt them but to protect them. He was a father and husband and he looked at the girls like they were own children. Maybe there was something in the house when he built it or maybe the land was haunted with some type of darkness?

When the girls found his picture they were speechless. They had found the man who was haunting them, and may have even saved them. Fear is a powerful emotion until you actually discover what you are afraid of. These girls took the time and found out who was in their house.

They may never know one hundred percent, but they now believe they have a guardian angel. Also, they question the fact there may also be demons out there, trying to cause people pain. It may not be the easiest thing in life to understand but they survived and told their story. There may be good and evil, you just have to decide what team you are on. The girls found their guardian angel and kept their faith.
