What’s Hot on TV Tonight – Notes from the Heart Healer

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Hallmark presents another installment of The Note movie series. Genie Francis again portrays the journalist and this time comes to terms with one of the most difficult times of her past, when she gave up her infant child. When an unknown infant is left on her doorstep, she doesn’t want any part of taking care of him at first, but it forces her to work through those feelings she has kept long buried.

1. The Heartbreak Kid. Ben Stiller is pretty funny in this movie that is very “Something About Mary-sh,” but the really surprisingly funny one is Jerry Stiller and how vulgar he can be to outwit his son. 12:37 PM CT TBS

2. PGA Tour Golf. Third round of The Players Championship from Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. 1:00 PM CT CBS

3. Con Air. This movie has one of my favorite movie lines of all time. Steve Buscemi hears Sweet Home Alabama playing, and watching the other convicts dancing around to it on the airplane, says “Define irony. Bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.” Love it. 4:30 PM CT TNT

4. NASCAR Racing: Sprint Cup. Showtime Southern 500 from Darlington Raceway in Darlington, SC. 5:30 PM CT ABC

5. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Jack Sparrow and the others take on the Chinese pirate Sa Feng. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffrey Rush star. 7:00 PM CT ABC

6. Notes from the Heart Healer. Genie Francis and Ted McGinley reprise their roles from The Note movie franchise. In this one, she tries to come to terms of her past along with the help of a baby left on her doorstep. 7:00 PM CT Hallmark

7. Cats 101. Featured cats include Oriental Bicolor, Donskoy, Minskin, Javanese, Sokoke, and Cats of the Web. 7:00 PM CT Animal Planet

8. The Firm. In a case against Kevin Stack, and Abby takes the stand, while Mitch finds the details of Stack’s plan. 8:00 PM CT NBC

9. Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s. Tim’s recent performance distracts him, and Miss Robbie takes care of things alone, and Tim helps out with the judge auditions. 8:00 PM CT OWN

14. Robert Redford Presents Blue Velvet. David Lynch’s classic thriller about a young man who finds a severed human ear and decides to solve the mystery himself, leading him to a dark underworld lurking beneath the bucolic suburbs.
