What’s Hot on TV Tonight – NASCAR Night Race

I love a good night race. Tonight NASCAR is at the Texas Motor Speedway for the Samsung Mobile 500. Martin Truex Jr. has the pole. Fort Worth weather is calling for strong thunderstorms, but it looks like the race can escape beforehand and finish without a rain delay.

1. PGA Tour Golf. Third round of RBC Heritage from Hilton Head, SC. 2:00 PM CT CBS

2. NHL Hockey. Game 2 of Eastern Conference Quarterfinal. 2:00 PM CT NBC

3. Road to Perdition. Tom Hanks plays a mob hit man who goes hiding with his son and is betrayed by his boss. It was filmed in the Chicago suburbs here and was big doings at the time. 2:15 PM CT TNT

4. The Proposal. Sandra Bullock stars as a woman about to be deported to Canada, so she convinces her male assistant to marry her, but before that, they have to visit his family in Alaska. 4:00 PM CT FX

5. NASCAR Racing: Sprint Cup. Samsung Mobile 500 from Texas Motor Speedway in Forth Worth. 6:00 PM CT Fox

6. Auto Racing. American LeMans Series from Long Beach, CA. 6:30 PM CT ESPN2

7. Escape Routes. The teams take on Atlanta, tasked with designing a backdrop and completing fire and rescue challenges at a training facility. 7:00 PM CT NBC

8. Titanic. This is a different Titanic than you might be expecting. It’s not the DiCaprio/Winslet movie. Instead it’s a miniseries airing parts one through three tonight. 7:00 PM CT ABC

9. 20/20 on TLC. In the first hour, father and their kids who seem loving pay the ultimate price. In the second hour, a teenager may have crashed her car purposely, killing a pregnant mom and her son, and a woman tells the truth about her rapist after he’s send to prison. In the third hour, a woman who left her estate to strangers, and a story of a 14-year-old boy that may not have been real. 7:00 PM CT TLC

10. Must Love Cats. Apps for cats, why cats can survive a fall, and cats making inmates happy. 7:00 PM CT Animal Planet

11. The Firm. Andrew is confronted by Mitch and Ray and suggests he help expose Kinross & Clark to the FBI, Abby tries to prevent the next murder with the help of authorities, and Mitch and his team plan to take on Kevin Stack. 8:00 PM CT OWN

12. Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s. Miss Robbie gets a prized picture stolen from the restaurant, Robbie’s grandson fibs about dating an employee who is older, and Tim and Jenae conduct a nanny search. 8:00 PM CT OWN
