What’s Hot on TV Tonight – Idols Take on Billy Joel

The final 10 on American Idol perform the songs of Billy Joel tonight. That’s a great catalog of songs. I remember the show doing his songs back in season three, and don’t remember them doing it since. I think it’s time. Check out your other favorite shows at TV-Links.

2. The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The guests today are Elizabeth Banks and Casey James. Syndicated, check local listings.

3. A Goofy Movie. This is one of my favorite Disney movies, believe it or not. It has such a great, strong message of family in it as Goofy works on bonding with his teenage son. 4:00 PM CT Disney XD

4. NBA Basketball. New York Knicks at Philadelphia 76ers. 6:00 PM CT ESPN

5. College Basketball. Third quarterfinal of NIT Tournament. Minnesota at Middle Tennessee State. 6:00 PM CT ESPN2

6. Survivor: One World. A survivor’s time on the island is threatened because of pain, and there’s a shakeup at Tribal Council. 7:00 PM CT CBS

7. Whitney. After Alex is lured into the champagne room by a dancer at a bachelor party, he drunkenly proposes to Whitney, and Mark realizes his true feelings for Roxanne. 7:00 PM CT NBC

8. One Tree Hill. In Dan’s search for nathan, he puts his life on the line, Brooke’s dad surprises her when he comes back, and Clay and Quinn reach out to Logan. 7:00 PM CT CW

9. American Idol. The final 10 perform the songs of Billy Joel. 7:00 PM CT Fox

10. Are You There, Chelsea? Chelsea can’t afford a pair of boots that she covets, and Rick needs one of Chelsea’s recipes to win a mixologist contest. 7:30 PM CT NBC

11. Criminal Minds. The team looks for a kidnapper when two boys go missing, and one is found in the Arizona desert, and Morgan looks back on his difficult past to try and make a connection with the boy found in the desert. 8:00 PM CT CBS

12. Bent. Series premiere. In the first half hour, Alex and her daughter move into a smaller home after a divorce, and hires Pete, a contractor, to renovate the kitchen. In the second half hour, Alex wants to take things with Ben to the next level, Pete rekindles a past romance, and Ben and Pete end up competing for Charlie’s attention. 8:00 PM CT NBC

13. America’s Next Top Model: British Invasion. One of the contestants considers leaving the show. The potential models create a commercial and compete in the photo shoot with high-fashion hats and vintage cars. J. Alexander is guest judge. 8:00 PM CT CW

14. Dog the Bounty Hunter. Rookie Alysin learns about the bond business, and Duane Lee questions why Beth decides to go on a hunt. In the second half hour, Dog gives advice to two goys who miss their court dates. 8:00 PM CT A&E

15. Ghost Hunters International. Bary and Kris examine a cemetery where possessed students were buried underground. They call out to paranormals and ask them make their presence known and suddenly they hear loud cricket noises come from out of nowhere. Not easily impressed, Bary asks the paranormal to stop the noises and it does. 8:00 PM CT Syfy

16. Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis. Millions of dollars of artwork clutter the home of a wealthy philanthropist; Jeff and Jenni must help him part with his treasures in order to save his marriage. 8:00 PM CT Bravo

17. Amazing Eats. “Sensational Sausages.” 8:00 PM CT Travel Channel

18. Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy. Larry visits the plants that make Corvettes and Louisville Sluggers, and also joins the search for Bigfoot. 8:00 PM CT HISTORY

20. Happy Endings. Alex teaches a bullied Dave to fight back, and the condo residents challenge Jane for her position as president of the homeowner’s association. 8:30 PM CT ABC

21. Operation Repo. Faced with possible legal action, Froy hatches a plan to travel to Texas to clear his name. This enormously popular series follows outrageous encounters in the high-pressure world of car repossession. Lou and his team are back on the job, hitching up cars, trucks and other big-ticket items after the property owners reportedly fail to make payments. 8:30 PM CT truTV

23. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The team looks into a robbery/homicide at a wedding with an Alice in Wonderland theme, and Hodges wants his mom to believe Morgan is his girlfriend. 9:00 PM CT CBS

24. Rock Center with Brian Williams. Featured tonight are an international crime that was solved with help from a professor and his class, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, a Greco-Roman wrestler, and the impact that smart phones have made on performers and audiences. 9:00 PM CT NBC

25. Psych. Shawn, Gus, and one of the members of Gus’ a cappella group investigate a young program founder’s shooting. 9:00 PM CT USA

26. Duck Dynasty. In the first half hour, Willie is annoyed when Phil and Jase would rather hunt and fish than take care of business, and Willie helps Miss Kay with a cooking video. In the second half hour, Jase is put in charge of the company for a day and has to tend to an important shipment, and Phil has a surprise for his grandchildren. 9:00 PM CT A&E

31. South Beach Tow. The tow of an RV leads to an off-the-wall couple taking up residence in the Tremont waiting room. Bernice has a run-in with her old co-workers and calls in former Tremont driver Eddie for back up. 9:00 PM CT truTV

32. 48 Hours: Hard Evidence. A verdict is reached after thirty days of testimony in a case concerning a mom accused or murdering her child. 9:00 PM CT OWN

33. Million Dollar Listing New York. Fredrik lands an entire building from one of NYC’s famous developers, but it’s not easy selling so many unfinished units. 9:00 PM CT Bravo

34. The Challenge: Battle of the Exes. The top three teams are named and find out the final challenge will happen in Iceland. 9:00 PM CT MTV

35. Happily Divorced. Fran is concerned when her dad believes a dying battery in his phone is crickets, and Glen gets a motorcycle. 9:30 PM CT TVLand

36. Ugly Americans. Everyone starts to get nervous about the lineup for the upcoming company intramural football game, Randall gets a job as the team’s ringer because of the power in his recently replaced arm. 9:30 PM CT Comedy Central
