What’s Hot on TV Tonight – Skating Creates Funny Scheduling Snafu

This is perhaps the funniest scheduling I have ever seen on competing networks. While NBC is airing Figure Skating Championships tonight, ABC will be airing Blades of Glory, the Will Ferrell and Jon Heder vehicle that pokes constant fun at the sport. What’s your preference?

1. College Football. St. John’s at Duke. 11:00 AM CT ESPN

2. College Basketball. Marquette at Villanova. 11:00 AM CT ESPN2

3. College Basketball. Texas at Baylor. 12:00 PM CT CBS

4. College Football. Kansas at Iowa State. 1:00 PM CT ESPN

5. We Are Marshall. Matthew McConaughey stars as a football coach saddled with the task of rebuilding a college football team that perished in a plane crash. 1:30 PM CT TNT

7. Figure Skating. U.S. Championships from San Jose, CA. 3:00 PM CT NBC

8. Armageddon. I love Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, and Liv Tyler in this, but mostly I love Steve Buscemi. He always plays the best nuts. 3:00 PM CT FX

15. Goodnight for Justice: The Measure of the Man. Luke Perry returns to the popular role of Goodnight, a respectable Circuit Court Judge often tested by the lawlessness of the Old West. He finds himself having to face down a malicious prosecutor named Lucius Breed (Eric Keenleyside). The only good news is that he’s suddenly linked up again with a former flame from his Chicago days named Callie (Stefanie von Pfetten) whom he learns is now widowed. 7:00 PM CT Hallmark
