What’s Hot on TV Tonight – Rose Bowl and The Bachelor

A day later than we expected it, the Rose Bowl parade and bowl game air. Grand Marshal J.R. Martinez has to be thinking “As one door closes …” He had his time in Iraq cut short when a bomb exploded and he was burned over 40% of his body, then came back home and got a job acting on All My Children. The long-airing soap ended, and he landed on Dancing With the Stars. He won that show, and now he sits as the Grand Marshal of the Rose Bowl parade. Also on tonight is the season premiere of The Bachelor, somehow they’re topping previous seasons yet again, this time by including a bachelorette in her 70s.
