3. To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. A lonely widower’s former in-laws try to set him up with a new woman on a weekend that used to be about celebrating his wife’s birthday and is also the anniversary of her death, but he still can’t seem to forget the woman he lost, prompting his in-laws to feel he can’t properly take care of his teenage daughter. 4:05 PM CT Encore Love

4. White Christmas. Last year when this Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney classic was on, I mentions it was perfect for a night snowed in with the terrible winter storm with snow and ice we were having here in the Midwest, and here we are again. 4:15 PM CT AMC

5. Charlie Brown Christmas. I have many favorite Christmas specials, but when forced to choose just one, I think it has to be this one. We have Linus to thank for explaining the reason for the season. 7:00 PM CT ABC

8. Person of Interest. Detective Carter must deal with the aftermath of her encounter with Reese and Finch, and the machine comes up with four Social Security numbers. 8:00 PM CT CBS

10. The First 48. A man turns up shot in front of his ex’s place, and a gas station is the setting for a gunfight. 8:00 PM CT A&E

11. World’s Dumbest … This week, in honor of the premiere of truTV’s Impractical Jokers, it’s 20 of the World’s Dumbest Pranks, from a remote-controlled ejector-couch to an evil clown on wheels. Todd Bridges, Daniel Baldwin, Tonya Harding and Danny Bonaduce provide hilarious commentary as they cull the video universe for the most idiotic pranksters imaginable. 8:00 PM CT truTV

12. Braxton Family Values. Trina receives an unexpected surprise from Papa Braxton when she graduates from business school! However, when she throws herself a party, the good surprises for her, turn not so good for Gabe.
