What’s Hot on TV Tonight – Jingle All the Way

Hallmark was forcing us into holiday model as early as the beginning of the month, and now that it’s Black Friday, they’re not letting up. Tonight they debut Jingle All the Way, an animated film about a dog who wants a new home for Christmas. Catch up on your other favorite shows you may have missed at TV-Links. 

1. Live with Kelly. Jerry O’Connell guest co-hosts, and Nathan Fillion, Jane Lynch, and Josh Capon are the guests. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Alvin and the Chipmunks. The cartoon is made over into a movie combining live action with animation and stars the voices of Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney. It’s cute, and that’s about all. 10:00 AM FX

3. College Football. Iowa at Nebraska. 11:00 AM ABC

4. College Football. Arkansas at LSU. 1:30 PM CT CBS

5. College Football. Boston College at Miami. 2:30 PM ABC

6. Raiders of the Lost Ark. It’s the one that started the whole Indiana Jones series. Stars Karen Allen along with Harrison Ford. 2:49 PM CT USA

7. The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The guests today include Felicity Huffman and Le Cirque du Soleil’s “Iris” contortionists. Syndicated, check local listings.

8. Jingle All the Way. In the tradition of TV’s best loved animated classics, this original animated special follows Jingle the Husky Pup, whosets out on a journey to find Andrew, the boy he met at the Christmas tree farm, hoping to have a new home just in time for Christmas. 6:00 PM Hallmark Channel

9. College Football. Pittsburgh at West Virginia. 6:00 PM ESPN

10. Hoops & Yoyo Ruin Christmas. After sneaking into Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Even, Hoops, Yoyo and friend Piddles disrupt the time-space continuum. 7:00 PM CT CBS

11. National Treasure: Book Of Secrets. Nicolas Cage stars in this sequel looking for the missing page from John Wilkes Booth’s diary. 7:00 PM CT NBC

12. Shrek the Third. The Shrek movies are cute stories, but let’s get real. It’s the voice talent that makes ’em what they are. 7:00 PM CT ABC

13. Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. Sure, this song is a fun one to sing once or twice a year, but did we really need an animated version of the story in this song? 7:00 PM CT CW

14. Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. stars as a wealthy inventor who is forced to build a devastating weapon by terrorists, but instead builds an armored suit to help him escape. 7:00 PM CT Fox

15. Cool Tools: Holiday Blowout 2011. Host Chris Grundy can help you out with gift ideas for everyone, from drills, to handsaws, wrenches, safety glasses and multi-tools. 16. Lord of the Rings Trilogy. A celebration of the 10th anniversary with an uninterrupted presentation of director Peter Jackson’s ground-breaking trilogy with nonstop plays of: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The marathon will begin with the theatrical film versions and will also include more than two hours of additional content in extended special editions. 7:00 PM CT Encore

17. The Elf on the Shelf: An Elf’s Story. Chippey the elf helps a boy who finds it hard to believe in the magic of Christmas. 7:30 PM CT CBS

18. Olive, the Other Reindeer. Blitzen gets injured, leaving Olive the dog to want to help Santa deliver his presents. 8:00 PM CT CW

19. Say Yes to the Dress. In the first half hour, RN Sarah wants a lace dress, Erika isn’t sure about an expensive gown, and Kelly gets a ball gown. In the second half hour, Linda wants a better dress than her sisters, Helen is dreaming of a ball gown, and Mandi has a special visitor at her fititng. 8:00 PM CT TLC

20. Fatal Attractions. A snake scientist gets bitten in the jungle, and a snake in NC challenges a six-foot long rival. 8:00 PM CT Animal Planet

21. Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys. Jared and Brent have a terrible date, and Kristin wants to have a baby. 8:00 PM CT Sundance

22. All On the Line with Joe Zee. South-African native Angelo Lambrou came to America to pursue his dreams of becoming a designer. His celebrated bridal line, which has been sold in Kleinfeld Bridal and Gabriella New York, and featured in ELLE, In Style, People, Cosmopolitan and Brides, has been on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, but has officially reached rock-bottom. Due to lack of sales, PR and man-power, Angelo Lambrou was on the verge of closing earlier this year but a meeting with New York boutique, Edit, may be their last chance to seal a deal. 8:30 PM CT Sundance

23. Sanctuary. Mangus and Will study the brain of an abnormal and notice a high number of synapses firing off and come to the conclusion that she can only communicate through music. They enter the room and Mangus begins asking her a question through song when Abby, the abnormal, looks at Will and asks why he looks worried. Mangus quickly proceeds to tell her that she’s been at the Sanctuary for a few days and she responds wondering if there is something they’re not telling her. Finding it quite odd, Will says that this is all insane and Abby looks at him and asks what he just said and gives a blank stare. 9:00 PM CT Syfy

24. The Joy Behar Show. Jane Lynch and William Shatner are the guests tonight. 9:00 PM CT HLN

25. Brides of Beverly Hills. In the first half hour, two brides share stories of their weddings. In the second half hour, two more brides prove that life really doesn’t begin until after 40. 9:00 PM CT TLC

26. BOSS. Kane takes an unannounced break from City Hall as his political image hits an all-time low. The election looms and he’ll need to enlist the help of others to weather this storm.
