Chew Up This Year’s Thanksgiving

Tired of the same old Thanksgiving recipes? Maybe it’s time to check out The Chew on ABC. They are considering themselves “Thanksgiving headquarters” and the place to go for tips, recipes, and videos.

The series went live in September after the demise of longtime soap All My Children. I’m still smarting a little over the loss of my soap, but hey, it’s not The Chew’s fault, and certainly isn’t the fault of co-hosts Mario Batali, Carla Hall, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly, and Daphne Oz. They’re just doing their job, which is serving up new ideas for food.

The Chew’s holiday coverage isn’t just confined to ABC daytime either. They also have a website providing even more information and are on Facebook as well.

Looking over the website has me drooling. A Coffee Bean Turkey? It sounds rich and delicious. How about Deep-Fried Pumpkin Pouches? I don’t know why the pumpkin is in a pouch, and I don’t care. It’s deep-fried! How could it be bad? Even Grandma Kate would like that one.
