What's Hot on TV Tonight – Expedition Impossible, Week 2

Expedition Impossible showed a lot of promise last week in its season premiere, don’t you think? I’m not ready to call it a favorite show, but I think the big thing with the show is we have to remember it’s not Survivor or The Amazing Race, and if we treat it as its own entity, it’s not bad! Catch up with other favorite shows you may have missed at TV-Links.

1. 2011 Wimbledon Championships. Women’s Semifinals. 12:00 PM CT NBC

2. The Talk. The guests today are Paris Hilton and mom Kathy Hilton, and Kristine Johnson is guest cohost. 1:00 PM CT CBS

3. Wipeout. Obstacles tonight include the Mood Swing, the Scareousel, and the Super Tramp. 7:00 PM CT ABC

4. So You Thnk You Can Dance. The next two dancers head home, and AXIS Dance Company performs. 7:00 PM CT Fox

5. Expedition Impossible. The second team is eliminated after the teams tame horses and kayak down a river. 8:00 PM CT ABC

6. Burn Notice. “Mind Games.” 8:00 PM CT USA

7. The First 48. Louisville detectives respond when a man is shot answering his door, and Texas neighbors find a dead teenager in the woods who has been shot. 8:00 PM CT A&E

8. Police Women of Broward County. Andrea stops a fleeing suspect, Shelunda takes part in a scavenger hunt, Erika falls in line in a high speed chase, and Julie plays house with other detectives. 8:00 PM CT TLC

9. Love Bites. A man consoles his son over a breakup, Colleen and Judd believe their search has turned up the perfect house, and Julia needs to choose between romance and career. Beau Bridges and Emily Rutherfurd guest star. 9:00 PM CT NBC

10. Rookie Blue. At a club known for drugs, Andy and Gail go undercover, Traci finds it difficult to deal with her feelings for Det. Barber, a woman lodges a complaint against Dov, and Andy opens up. 9:00 PM CT ABC

11. Suits. “Errors and Omissions.” 9:00 PM CT USA

12. Wilfred. Ryan betrays Wilfred’s trust trying impress Jenna, and finds a surprising secret about her. 9:00 PM CT FX

13. Top 20 Most Shocking: Summer Blowouts 2. You’ll see a jet-skier turn into a human cannonball after flying off a ramp, forty hicks in a tub take a tumble while partying too hard at a country music concert, and a party girl who takes a misguided cliff dive that you’ve got to see to believe! 9:00 PM CT truTV

14. The First 48: Missing Persons. A teenager and her own child go missing, and an elderly man disappears before he makes it to a Christmas party. 9:00 PM CT A&E

15. The Real Housewives of New York City. It looks like Sonja’s issues go beyond what’s happening with her finances. Home troubles hit Sonja when her plumbing situation is less than ideal. This housewife isn’t afraid to get down and dirty and you won’t believe we she grabs out of her toilet. Meanwhile, Simon wants to join the ‘Jill Drama’ trend when he confronts Jill about the issues he has with her. Will Simon ignite some drama of his own, or will Jill and Simon come to an understanding? 9:00 PM CT Bravo

16. 4th and Forever. Capitalizing on a win against Jordan High School, Coach Raul Lara motivates his players to focus on one crucial goal – beating Poly’s cross-town rival, Lakewood. Last year for the first time in three decades, Lakewood defeated Poly, and the Jackrabbits are determined not to let history repeat itself. Jeremiah Hollowell gets a wakeup call when Ty Burford, the player development coach warns him if he doesn’t get his grades up he will be benched. Michael Teo has a heart to heart with his mom who is battling cancer. The entire team shows their support of Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink during the Lakewood game. 9:00 PM CT Current

17. NY Ink. Ami gets a harsh reminder that business isn’t going as well as planned, and Jessica tries to help out. 9:00 PM CT TLC

18. Yard Crashers. Ahmed and his crew are turning a small, boring yard into an artistic retreat for a Sacramento couple. First, a redwood deck expands the entertaining space, wrapping around from the sliding-glass back door out to an extended roof covering. Then, the team constructs an LED-lit cinder-block seating area in front of a custom-built water wall. And how does Ahmed top off this crash? With a gigantic orange tree lit from below and throughout with LED lights. 9:00 PM CT DIY

19. Louie. Louie has two memorable experiences. 9:30 PM CT FX

20. Conan. Tom Hanks and Myron Mixon are the guests. 10:00 PM CT TBS

21. The Late Show with David Letterman. Tonight’s guests are Julia Roberts and Cake. 10:35 PM CT CBS
