What's Hot On TV Tonight – Cable's Back!

As a relatively new fan of all the drama series on cable, I felt like I was going through withdrawal not having any new ones on over the weekend. Fear not, they’re back tonight. The Closer and Raising the Bar are on tonight, along with Weeds and Nurse Jackie over on Showtime.

1. Regis and Kelly. Guests include Mary McCormack, chef Nigella Lawson, and he Jonas Brothers. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Groundhog Day. Bill Murray as a weatherman who is forced to live Groundhog Day over and over again. Somehow, we all know how he feels. 9:00 AM CT FX

3. Pretty In Pink. Jon Cryer steals the show here as Molly Ringwald’s best friend, Ducky who has great taste in music. 12:15 PM CT AMC

4. Rachael Ray.Paula Deen guests, making margarita pops, and a camping segment with Colby Donaldson, of Survivor fame, is featured as well. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. The Bachelorette. Jillian takes the four remaining bachelors to Spain for their fantasy dates. The final three move onto Hawaii. 7:00 PM CT ABC

6. Secret Life of the American Teenager. As Grace withdraws from everyone, Ricky tries to help her out. 7:00 PM CT ABC Family

7. Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Nichols and Wheeler investigate the murder of a con man’s partner who had charmed a lonely single mom. 8:00 PM CT NBC

8. The Closer. Brenda investigates when a gang member is murdered, but he might not have been the intended target. All the while, she is trying to prove the LAPD does care about crime in the poorer areas of town. 8:00 PM CT TNT

9. Intervention. Drug addiction is the focus tonight. 8:00 PM CT A&E

10. Make It Or Break It. Payson, Emily, and Kaylie go to a high school party, but don’t have as much fun as they bargained for. Everyone is shocked when Lauren comes back to the gym. 8:00 PM CT A&E

11. Dateline NBC. Josh Mankiewicz looks into a car explosion that ended the life of a well-connected businessman. 9:00 PM CT NBC

12. Here Come the Newlyweds. The final three couples look into the future guessing what they’ll be doing for their tenth anniversaries, and the men are made up to look like older to show what they might look like after forty years together. An obstacle course that includes baby care is included as well. 9:00 PM CT ABC

13. Raising the Bar. Jerry takes the case of a woman charged with drug ossession, but it brings up a conflict between him and Michelle’s new boyfriend, a cop. Bobbi represents a client on larceny charges, and Charlie and Judge Farnsworth have dinner together. 9:00 PM CT TNT

14. 4th and Long. Although facing injuries and fatigue, the athletes face an exhausting drill as Daryl Johnston encourages them. 9:00 PM CT Spike TV

15. Obsessed. A woman with claustrophobia and a fear is germs is featured, along with a woman who hoards things. 9:00 PM CT A&E

16. Kathy Griffin: My Life On the D-List. Kathy decides to write a tell-all book about her fellow actors, significant others, and Ryan Seacrest. She softens the blow to her mom by granting a series of wishes, one of them being a trip to California wine country with Mihcael McDonald and Nicole Sullivan. 17. Weeds. Nancy discusses possibly having an abortion, Shane hires some muscle to get his pot back from a teacher, Andy pretends he’s Judah to get a bank teller to help him get access to his brother’s account, and Silas and Doug set off to a see a dealer, known as The Wizard. Alanis MOrissette guest stars. 9:00 PM CT Showtime East

18. Nurse Jackie. Zoey deals with a 10-year-old whose mother suffers from lupus on her first night shift. Jackie finds the girl is the primary caregiver for her mom, and disregards hospital policy to help out. Dr. O’Hara gives Zoey a trip to a first rate restaurant, and Mrs. Akalitus runs into a stun gun, literally. 9:30 PM CT Showtime East

19. Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien. The guests tonight include Howie Mandel, Alanis Morissette, and Death Cab for Cutie. 10:50 PM CT NBC
