What's Hot On TV Tonight – Happy 4th of July!

Thank God they have a couple of fireworks celebrations on TV tonight, because our local municipality has decided it doesn’t have the funding for it this year. We’ll either watch it on TV or sit outside and watch the fireworks the neighbor’s set off.

1. Wimbledon: Women’s Final. The women’s tennis finals in London. Venus Williams is the defending champion. 8:00 AM CT NBC

2. Premonition. This thriller stars Sandra Bulllock as a woman whose husband dies, and the next morning she wakes up to find it was all a dream. The following morning she wakes up to find that was a dream, and he really did die, and so on. 3:00 PM CT The Movie Channel Extreme East

3. Wayne’s World. Party time. Excellent. Wayne and Garth finally get a chance to move beyond the basement. 4:00 PM CT VH1

2. NASCAR Racing: Sprint Cup In Daytona Beach, FL. The Coke Zero 400 which was won last year by Kyle Busch after being the runner-up for the two years previous. 7:00 PM CT TNT

4. 48 Hours Mystery. Amazing forensics and an obsessed cop help solve a very haunting mystery. 7:00 PM CT CBS

5. Kings. On a mission to recover the Charter of Gilboa, David learns new info about when his dad died. Rose and Silas feel very differently about the news that Jack and Katrina are engaged. 7:00 PM CT NBC

6. Heathers. Where we all really fell for Christian Slater. Winona Ryder and Shannen Doherty star as well in this movie about suicide in a teenage clique. 7:00 PM CT Soap

7. Burn After Reading. The Coen Brothers are at it again, this time Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand star as employees of a gym that find a CD with sensitive info that belongs to a CIA agnet. 7:00 PM CT HBO East

8. Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Natalie Morales and Tiki Barber host the NBC coverage of the 33rd annual fireworks display, along with performances by Rob Thomas, Jewel, and the cast of West Side Story. 8:00 PM CT NBC

9. Storytellers. ZZ Top performs and talks about their music which includes La Grange and Sharp Dressed Man. 8:00 PM CT VH1 Classic

10. Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. Keith Lockhart conducts, and Neil Diamond performs with the Boston Pops, and Craig Ferguson hosts. 9:00 PM CT CBS

11. Eli Stone. Another cancelled series finishing out its episodes. Tonight, Jordan and Eli help a room service waiter who had gotten laid off with hundreds of others from a failed financial institution that awarded the CEO a goden parachute. Eli has a vision that involves his dad and an airplane. 9:00 PM CT ABC

12. The Singing Bee. Let’s see if this one holds up better than Don’t Forget the Lyrics. 9:00 PM CT CMT
