

I’m not exactly sure why America’s Got Talent switched hosts, making this the third in its short run of seasons, but as much as I liked Jerry Springer doing this, I absolutely love Nick Cannon. His facial expressions alone make the show. To me he kind of stole the show away from the auditioners and the judges, as I looked to see what his reactions were to each performance last week, more than I looked to see what the Hoff thought.
1. Wimbledon: Women’s Quarterfinals. Tennis Quarterfinal round play from the women in London. 10:00 AM CT NBC
2. The View. Dolly Parton, Allison Janney, and the stars of Broadway’s 9 to 5: The Musical guest, as well as columnist Lenore Skenazy. 10:00 AM CT ABC
3. Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who! The movie adaptation of the popular Seuss story, starring the voices of Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell. 11:00 AM CT HBO East
4. Superstars. The remaining teams compete in the 100-year dash and the long-jump, with the latter competition taking place in the water. 7:00 PM CT ABC
5 Legally Blonde. Reese Witherspoon stars as a not-to-bright blonde attending Harvard Law School who is dumped by her boyfriend. 7:00 PM CT Fox
6. America’s Got Talent. More auditions, and for me much of the story this year is coming with the replacement at host with Nick Cannon, who is doing a bangup job. 8:00 PM CT NBC
7. Hitched or Ditched. An interracial couple from North Carolina ust either go through with it or end their relationship after ten years. 8:00 PM CT CW
8. HawthoRNe. Christina lends a hand to a son who can’t accept that his mom is dying, Bobbie helps Kelly through a case that involves an infant who drank rubbing alcohol, and Ray gets some working time with Candy, but a patient pulls him away. 8:00 PM CT TNT
9. NCY Prep. Romantic dramas develop at a birthday party, as Sebastion courts both Kelli and Taylor, whose ex arrives. PC goes on a blind date, and a love triangle happens before Camille’s eyes. 8:00 PM CT Bravo
10. The Apprentice: UK. The contestants have to sell goods on a TV shopping channel. 8:00 PM CT BBC
11. Better Off Ted. Linda has to temporarily move into Ted’s office after a toxic mishap, and Len gets the courage to ask Lucy out. 8:30 PM CT ABC
12. Primetime: Family Secrets. The toll of caring for an elderly parent is explored. 9:00 PM CT ABC
13. Saving Grace. The case gets personal for Grace, as a bomb detonates at her brother’s churcch, and Rhetta is haunted by family problems, seeking comfort by searching for a time capsule she and Grace buried as children. Grace continues to watch over Neely. 9:00 PM CT TNT
14. Rescue Me. Tommy questions his feelings in a dream sequence with his dead father, brother, son, and Jimmy Keefe after dealing with a horrific accident on the job. Sean has a visitor he doesn’t want at the hospital, and Lou has a visitor he does wnat to his apartment. 9:00 PM CT FX
15. The Cleaner. William’s weekend with his son is interrupted by a call for help from his dad, who wants help for his dearest friend, a Marine, who is in turn looking for help for the father of another Marine whose son just passed away in the way. 16. Little Couple. Bill works on Jen’s Honey-Do list, then the couple meets a teen who is also a little person. 9:00 PM CT TLC
17. Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. The family gets back together when Tori surprises Dean with a Calgary trip. He wraps up work on the film Santa Baby 2, but everything isn’t great when he returns home and the speed demon is back on the motorcycle racetrack. 9:00 PM CT Oxygen
18. Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. The best friend hopefuls go behind bars, then are interrogated by Three 6 Mafia, before two more contestants are eliminated. 9:00 PM CT MTV
