What's Hot On TV Tonight – American Idol Redeux

Nigel Lythgoe announced this on last week’s So You Think You Can Dance, that tonight Fox is airing a rebroadcast of the American Idol Final 13 that featured all Michael Jackson music. It should make for a fitting tribute. From Nigel’s Twitter, comes the news that they’re working on a salute to the gloved one as well on the dance show, but they need to get the music cleared first.

1. Regis and Kelly. Mark Conseulos, aka Mr. Kelly Ripa, guest cohosts, and Josh Duhamel, Mark and Kelly’s old buddy from their All My Children days, guests. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Wimbledon. Early-round play. 10:00 AM CT NBC

3. My Cousin Vinny. If this movie is known for one thing, it’s the Joe Pesci quote, “Two Youtes.” Also stars Ralph Macchio, Marisa Tomei in her Oscar winning role, and Fred Gwyne. 12:00 PM CT TBS

4. The Bachelorette. It’s the at-home visits of the final five, as the whole “who has a girlfriend back home?” question still looms over everyone. 7:00 PM CT ABC

5. American Idol. For the first time ever, Fox is reairing Idol. The occaison is the final 13 episode this past season that featured all Michael Jackson music. 7:00 PM CT Fox

6. Secret Life of the American Teenager. Grace faces guilt, and Ben wants to know where he fits in in Amy’s life. 7:00 PM CT ABC Family

7. Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Goren and Earnes look into the murder of a celebrity doctor. 8:00 PM CT NBC

8. The Closer. Brenda and Fritz clash when they work together on a missing person case that ends up being a murder probe that involves drugs and gay dance parties.  8:00 PM CT TNT

9. Intervention. Eating disorders and prescription drug abuse are the subjects handled tonight. 8:00 PM CT A&E

10. Make It Or Break It. Chaos at the gym after Mary and Lauren leave, causes Payson, Kaylie, and Emily to confront them about their decision. Lauren is not happy with the reception she gets at her new gym. 8:00 PM CT A&E

11. Jon & Kate Plus 8. It’s happier times, assumably, as we see previously unseen footage of the early years of the Gosselins. 8:00 PM CT TLC

12. Dateline NBC. Josh Mankiewicz looks into a car explosion that ended the life of a well-connected businessman. 9:00 PM CT NBC

13. Here Come the Newlyweds. The final four couples compete in a room-decorating contest, and the women get surprised when the men undergo hypnotherapy. 9:00 PM CT ABC

14. Raising the Bar. Jerry represents a dad accused of child endangerment and sexual performance of a child. Read more in my review of this episode at Film Monthly. 9:00 PM CT TNT

15. 4th and Long. The remaining contestants scrimmage for four quarters against the guys previously released, who are looking to get back in. Jerry Rice checks in tonight as well. 9:00 PM CT Spike TV

16. Kathy Griffin: My Life On the D-List. Kathy consults with Rachel True, trying to get into the youth (Or Youtes) market, who suggets she join Facebook, fix up her wardrobe, and go on a trendy TV show. She also meets up with Paris Hilton and the paparazzi. She ends up getting her mom’s help to create her Facebook page. Check in with Reality Shack tomorrow for a recap. 9:00 PM CT Bravo

17. Weeds. DEA Agent Roy Till surprises Nancy with a visit, Celia comes back from Mexico to live in Nancy’s garage, Andy turns up an old bank account of his brother’s and tries to access it, Silas and Doug want a lease for their medical marijuana dispensary, and use their law enforcement connection to do so. 9:00 PM CT Showtime East

18. Nurse Jackie. Jackie is annoyed with Grace’s teacher, the school nurse, and the district psychologist, when they all suggest they treat Grace with anti-anxiety meds. Zoey loses her first patient, and a young twin becomes attached to Dr. O’Hara after she saves the other twin. 9:30 PM CT Showtime East

19. Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien. Getting a late start tonight after Wimbledon highlights, Tom Hanks and Green Day are the guests. 10:50 PM CT NBC
