What's Hot On TV Tonight – More Reports On the Economy

As I stated here a few months back, I have no money, I know I have no money, and I know I don’t have any bright prospects of having any money, so this constant discussion on newsmagazine shows explaining why I don’t have any money is really bringing me down. However, 20/20 can’t seem to figure out anything else to discuss tonight. Apparently there are no big crimes they need to highlight and John Stossel isn’t wondering about anything else.

1. The View. Guests include George Lopez, Lewis Black and Mario Cantone. 10:00 AM CT ABC

2. Nancy Drew. It’s a film adaptation of the girl detective series that you remember from either the books or the weekly series in the 70s. It’s a fun one for the kids. 11:00 AM HBO Family East

3. The Dark Knight. The Batman film that earned Heath Ledger a posthumous Oscar. I have to admit it was a good portrayal, although the thought of the Joker winning an Oscar is odd, if you haven’t seen the film. 12:30 PM CT HBO West

5. Chopping Block. Another series finishing out what’s in the can after its cancellation. Tonight the couples will learn about pairing wine and food at a wine cellar, then plan a romantic service for singles on blind dates and an undercover food critic. 7:00 PM CT NBC

6. Surviving Suburbia. Steve feels much more macho after Onno gives him a gun, but Anne isn’t happy about it. Monica sends the Pattersons a bill for the food Henry has eater at their house. 7:00 PM CT ABC

7. Don’t Forget the Lyrics! In the season finale, a Boston woman tries to win cash to pay for a vacation for her parents. 7:00 PM CT Fox

8. The Goode Family. Gerald and Helen make friends iwht a lesbian couple to impress those at the arts council, but then end up right where they started when Gerald makes an anti-gay slur. 7:30 PM CT ABC

9. Dateline NBC. A couple is murdered whie trying to sell their boat, and another story that includes the solving of a 16 year old case of a mother disappearing. 8:00 PM CT NBC
