What's Hot On TV Tonight – Will Ferrell back on SNL!

There are a number of sketches Will Ferrell could bring back to the show tonight as he guest hosts the show that made him famous, Saturday Night Live. Even better, Green Day is the musical guest. I don’t know if you can craft a better season ender.

1. Almost Famous. What could be cooler to a teenage guy than to get to follow around a rock band for awhile, then write about it for Rolling Stone? 11:45 AM CT HBO Signature East

2. Preaknes Stakes: From Pimlico Race Course. It’s the second leg of the triple crown. Can long shot Kentucky Derby champion Mine That Bird do it again? 3:30 PM CT NBC

3. The Odd Couple. It’s the original, with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon before Tony Randall and Jack Klugman. A true classic. 4:10 PM CT HBO Comedy East

4. Reign Over Me. Adam Sandler like you haven’t seen him before as a widower who struggles to go on with life after his family dies in an airplane on 9/11. 2:20 PM CT Starz East

5. Overboard. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell star in a movie I thought would be just alright, but not only did I really enjoy it, it’s become one of my favorites. 3:05 PM CT Encore West


6. Harry Potter and the Globlet of Fire. The fourth movie in the popular series has ord Voldemort trying to trap Harry at the Triwizard Tournament. 7:00 PM CT ABC

7. Cops. Police and a hostage negotiator diffuse a domestic disturbance where the woman has a gun, offices take care of another domestic dispute, and a stolen vehicle is pulled over 7:00 PM CT Fox

8. Cops. An arrest for grand theft auto and obstruction, police take care of verbally abusive roommates, and three women allege assault. 7:30 PM CT Fox

9. America’s Most Wanted. Included is a report from both sides of the border on Mexican drug violence and how it’s spilled over into the U.S. 8:00 PM CT Fox

10. Primeval. In the season opener, a huge crocodile from Egypt is let go when an anomaly opens in London’s British Museum. Cutter and the others try to catch it, with the help from the museum’s archaeologist. 8:00 PM CT BBC

11. Groomer Has It. The contestants try to teach grooming techniques to 10-year-olds, then have to style older dogs to look youthful. Janice Dickinson is guest judge.8:00 PM CT Animal Planet

12. 48 Hours Mystery. A brother and sister don’t agree over their stepfather’s murder. 9:00 PM CT CBS

13. Beverly Hills Groomer. It’s a spinoff of Groomer Has It that shows the first winner of the show opening his own salon in Beverly Hills. 9:00 PM CT Animal Planet

14. Amazing Race 14. Watch last week’s finale and the exciting last challenge which has one team quickly losing its big lead. 10:00 PM CT Travel Channel

15. Saturday Night Live. Season finale has Will Ferrell coming back as a guest host and Green Day as the musical guest. 10:30 PM CT NBC
