What's Hot On TV Tonight – Lost Season Finale


It’s the two-hour season finale tonight of Lost, with a special retrospective beforehand. That makes three straight hours for Lost fans. You’ll have to get the DVRs running, though, as smack dab in the middle of all that is the American Idol results show where we find out who the final two will be. I won’t be surprised no matter how this one turns out. And if you’re still looking for something to watch, you also have the America’s Next Top Model finale. Still looking for more?

1. Regis and Kelly. Ewan McGregor and Jewel are the guests, along with last summer’s America’s Got Talent winner, Neil E. Boyd. Syndicated, check local listings.

4. Tyra Banks. Tyra holds a graduation part for her cast of America’s Next Top Model. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. Rules of Engagement. Jeff and Audrey invite a friend with marital problems to stay with them, but it becomes very awkward when the friend gets way too touchy-feely. 7:00 PM CT CBS

6. Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Wheeler and Det. Nichols investigate when an artist is found stabbed in the midst of a neighborhood with ethnic tensions. 7:00 PM CT CBS

7. Lost: A Journey In Time Featured here are highlights from some of the past episodes, focusing on the fate of Locke, how the Oceanic 6 returned, and what happened to the survivors left behind. 7:00 PM CT ABC

8. America’s Next Top Model. The final three shoot a cosmetics commercial and then pare down to the final two before walking down the final runway to name the winner. 7:00 PM CT CW

9. Lie to Me. In the season finale, FBI agent Reynolds finds help from the Lightman Group to search for the perpetrators of a terrorist attack outside Washington, D.C. Cal and Zoe are afraid their daughter could be in peril. 7:00 PM CT Fox

10. The New Adventures of Old Christine. Christine pretends she’s in love with an obnoxious date she brings to Richard’s rehearsal dinner to show she’s okay with her ex remarrying. Matthew then falls for New Christine’s sister. 7:30 PM CT CBS

11. Criminal Minds. One of the agents risks his life trying to stop a killer from releasing a deadly virus into the air. 8:00 PM CT CBS

12. Lost. In the season finale, Jack’s plan to make things right on the island meets with stiff opposition, and Locke gives Ben a tough job assignment. Flashbacks focus on Kate, Juliet, and Sawyer. 8:00 PM CT ABC

13. American Idol. And then there were two. Before we have an elimination of a guy who is very deserving of being there, no matter which of the three it is, we’ll have performances of Katy Perry and Jordin Sparks. 8:00 PM CT Fox

14. NBA Playoff: Game 5: Nuggets at Mavericks. Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinal series. 8:00 PM CT TNT

15. CSI: NY. Stella probes murders that seem to be linked to some ancient Greek artifacts. She turns in her badge to follow the clues to Greece, uncoveering a mystery that has historical proportions. 9:00 PM CT CBS

16. Law & Order. Detectives Lupo and Bernard investigate when the bodies of two scientists are set on fire. Lawyer wants to make a deal for the suspect’s confession, but the case doesn’t sit right with Connie. 9:00 PM CT NBC

17. Late Show With David Letterman. Robin Williams guests, and you just never know what you’re going to end up when he’s on a talk show. Wynton Marsalis appears as well. 10:35 PM CT NBC

18. Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Jeff Probst is on talking about one fantastic season of Survivor. I’m guessing Coach’s name will come up … a lot. The Beat Freaks make an appearance as well. 9:30 PM CT TNT
