What's Hot On TV Tonight – Slashing the Final Four

I see this going either way. Slash could either be one of those guest mentors on American Idol where you just sit there after the show and facetiously say, “Yeah, that was helpful.” Or he could turn out to be really insightful when you don’t expect it, like Jamie Foxx last week. I agree with Simon that last week ended up being the best final five week ever. Can they keep that momentum going heading into tonight?

1. The View. Guests are Donald and Ivanka Trump and WWE wrestling MVP. Well, that’s an interesting mix. 10:00 AM CT ABC

2. Annie. I can’t even see the name of this movie without singing. Care to join me? “The sun’ll come out tooo-morrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow …” 11:00 AM CT Hallmark

3. Grace Is Gone. John Cusack plays a dad whose wife dies while fighting in Iraq, and he must find a way to explain it to his two young daughters. Read more about this emotional journey in Austin Moran’s review at Film Monthly. 12:00 PM CT Cinemax East


4. The Bonnie Hunt Show. Bonnie’s guests include a 7-year-old violin prodigy and Kara DioGuardi, American Idol’s newest judge. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen’s guests are Zachary Quinto, The Black Eyed Peas, and Simon Cowell. Hopefully he’ll talk about the talk of him leaving after next season. Syndicated, check local listings.

6. The Last American Virgin. I thought this was going to be a movie about my teenage years, but apparently it’s not, although interestingly enough, it did come out the year I graduated high school. 6:00 PM CT VH1 Classic

7. NCIS. The second of two parts. Tonight, Gibbs and McGee are still hunting for the terrorist in Los Angeles, and Tony grills Ziva about her relationship with Rivkin. 7:00 PM CT CBS

8. The Biggest Loser: Couples. The players go home for thirty days, then come back for one more challenge and one last weigh-in before the finale. Coming out to inspire the Losers will be former Losers Ali Vincent, Michelle Aguilar, Jim Germanakos, Heba Salama, and Bernie Salazar. 7:00 PM CT NBC

9. Scrubs. J.D. thinks about leaving Sacred Heart in order to be closer to Kim and his son, and Turk gets comfortable in his new role, as Ted’s relationship progresses. 7:00 PM CT ABC

10. Reaper. After a fire at her place, Nina moves in with the guys. Morgan does as well, flirting with her and putting Sam in an awkward position. Sock throws a party that doesn’t go as planned. 7:00 PM CT CW

11. American Idol. Tonight’s theme is rock, and the guest mentor is Slash. They could all do really well again, just like last week. 7:00 PM CT Fox

12. NBA Playoff: Game 1: Hawks at Cavaliers. Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series. 7:00 PM CT TNT

13. Better Off Ted. Season finale with Veronica tries to improve morale and make herself more likable after a survey shows that the staff is unhappy. Ted tries to get an older demographic. 7:30 PM CT ABC

14. The Mentalist. Jane pits two suspects against each other when the CEO of a software company is found murdered on his yacht. 8:00 PM CT CBS

15. Dancing With the Stars. I hate to see him go, I really do, but I fear that it will be Ty Murray. He just really grew on me. 8:00 PM CT ABC

16. 90210. Adrianna has a bridal shower, and Navid a bachelor party. Naomi and Jen want to move in together and ask their dad to release Naomi’s trust fund. Ryan and Jen make plans for dinner. 8:00 PM CT CW

17. Fringe. A suspected case of spontaneous combustion happens to take place at the same time as Olivia’s unexplainable visions. Walter focuses on the ZFT manifesto and a revelation from Peter. 8:01 PM CT Fox

18. Without a Trace. A missing teen is last seen in a video shot by her abductor who remains unseen in the video. 9:01 PM CT CBS

19. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. After sending out naked pictures of herself in a text message, a teenager is beaten up. She gets arrested for child pornography and faces a harsh sentence. Carly Shroeder guest stars 9:00 PM CT NBC

20. Cupid. Trevor tries out a match with a patient of Claire’s who’s an Iraqi vet, and a caterer who was his high school crush. Claire tackles one of her fears. 9:02 PM CT ABC

21. Rescue Me. Everyone sees the same things on the 9/11 tap that Tommy did, and Sheila talks with Damien about joining the FDNY. Tommy gets acquainted with Janet’s boyfriend, Sean gets medical testing results, and Colleen and Bart go over the guidelines of their relationship. Michael J. Fox guest stars 9:00 PM CT FX

22. NBA Playoff: Game 2: Mavericks at Nuggets. Gave 2 of the Western Conference semifinal series. 9:30 PM CT TNT

23. Jimmy Kimmel Live. Fresh off his appearance on Ellen, Zachary Quinto guests, as well as the latest to be voted off DWTS. 12:05 AM CT ABC
