What's Hot On TV Tonight – More Southland

I have to admit I originally read a bad review of the series currently sitting in ER‘s coveted time slot, Southland, but after watching the first two, I have to say I really like this show. I love TV dramas that play out like a movie, and this does that. It’s full of action, and there seems to be some interesting characters that they could do a lot with as far as development.

1. The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Exciting show today! Both Lindsay Lohan and Price guest, as well as a kid author, and the parent of an 11-year-old that committed suicide after being bullied at school. Wow. 3:00 PM CT NBC

2. Survivor: Tocantins – The Brazilian Highlands. Sierra is obviously next up on the block, but will she win immunity just to screw them all? 7:00 PM CT CBS


3. My Name Is Earl. Earl’s karmic attentions are on a reverend he did wrong to in the past. Forgiveness isn’t forthcoming, though, as the reverend finds out about all of Earl’s other wrongdoings. 7:00 PM CT NBC

4. Smallville. Lois gets her star reporter status by pretending to be the superhero Stiletto, and naturally then gets exclusive interviews with with the superhero. Clark worries about her safety, until she saves him from thugs with Kryptonite. 7:00 PM CT CW

5. Bones. The sister of a detective friend of Booth’s disappears from Washington, D.C., and their investigation leads them to an escort service. Booth and Brennan find that the missing woman’s roommate as disappeared as well. 7:00 PM CT Fox

6. NBA Playoff: Game 3: Celtics at Bulls. Game 3 in the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series. Go Bulls! 7:00 PM CT TNT

7. Parks and Recreation. Leslie asks a reporter to write an article about her park project, but isn’t happy with what is written, and Tom sucks up to Ron. 7:30 PM CT NBC

8. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The convicted murdered of an elderly man makes claims that his trial was based on inaccurate evidence, false testimony, and Catherine’s errors, as she worked on her first solo case. She reinvestigates and begins to see his point. 8:00 PM CT CBS

9. The Office. Michael has financial difficulties that are increasing, as well as early morning deliveries that aren’t going as planned. It’s Angela forcing the staff to get their expense reports done by the deadline. 8:00 PM CT NBC

10. Grey’s Anatomy. Izzie helps Meredith and Derek plan the wedding, despite her ongoing cancer treatments. Callie’s dad is not pleased to be introduced to Arizona once he finds she’s Callie’s girlfriend. George does well, but not Alex, in a trauma surgery, and Owen looks for help with his PTSD. 8:00 PM CT ABC

11. Supernatural. Sam and Dean agree to meet with a 19-year-old that claims to be John Winchester’s son, but they think it’s another demon trying to trap them. 8:00 PM CT CW

12. Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Ramsay cooks for the final four, then asks them to copy his recipe. A surprise proposal is planned for the dinner service’s dessert course. 8:00 PM CT Fox

13. 30 Rock. Jack and Elisa discuss taking their romance further, so Jack shops for rings when he’s with Liz. He also has questions about the realities of marriage, and seeks help from Tracy. A prank at TGS causes an injury. 8:31 PM CT NBC

14. Harper’s Island. Abby thinks Kelly was murdered, even though her death is officially ruled a suicide. Trish faces her feelings about Hunter, and the killer strikes again. 9:01 PM CT CBS

15. Southland. Sherman talks about his past, as Cooper realizes why he joined the force. Dewey is caught up in the spotlight as a famous actor faces trouble with the law, and Chickie wishes he hadn’t taken Dewey as a partner. 9:00 PM CT NBC

16. Private Practice. Noah is interested in one of Addison’s cases, Sam doesn’t understand Naomi’s evasiveness, Pete’s relationship with Lisa is made complicated by Violet’s pregnancy, and Sheldon makes a stand. 9:02 PM CT ABC

17. NBA Playoff: Game 3: Lakers at Jazz. Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinal series. 9:30 PM CT TNT Time approximate after previous game.

18. Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. Bridget lands a little closer to home in Hawaii. 9:00 PM CT Travel Channel
