What happened to the networks pulling out all the stops during February, making it “sweeps month?” It’s been a rare day this month when there haven’t been at least a few reruns on. Surprisingly, despite the fact we’re in an economic crisis and less of us are going out on the weekends, they’ve turned Saturdays into a night of reruns culled from shows that normally air on different nights. Fox rings in with new episodes of Cops and America’s Most Wanted, and CBS with 48 Hours Mystery. Other than that, it’s reruns and a mini Will Smith Film Fest.

1. Splash. This will be fun; I haven’t seen this in a long while. Tom Hanks plays a man who falls in love with a mermaid, Daryl Hannah. Find out which character I identify with at Sazze. 12:00 PM CT Hallmark

2. The Pursuit of Happyness. Will Smith is truly inspirational in this true story of man that does whatever it takes to have it all. Find out more about this true story at Sazze. 12:30 PM CT Starz 5

3. Cops. Sheriffs go undercover in a drug sting, a physical altercation between a dad and son is broken up by deputies, and police stop a drunk on a bicycle. Bicycle DUI? 7:00 PM CT Fox

4. Hitch. This time, Will Smith is pursuing his happiness through relationships, others’ relationships, as a dating consultant. 7:30 PM CT ABC

5. America’s Most Wanted. Pauley Perrette from NCIS showcases two unsolved murders, that of a friend of hers who died in a firebombing in Detroit, and and that of an 11-year-old girl whose body was found near her home in Alabama. Also included tonight is the capture of a man wanted for sexual assault, and a fugitive that’s wanted for a murder during a carjacking in Houston. 8:00 PM CT Fox

6. Grease. This and Saturday Night Fever helped John Travolta make the switch from sitcom actor to film actor in the 1970s. 7:00 PM CT ABC Family

7. 48 Hours Mystery. A teenaged couple tell the story of their date that turned into a kidnapping and shooting. 9:00 PM CT CBS

8. Black Snake Moan. Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci star in this movie of a young woman who confuses violence and love. Find out why it’s one of my favorite movies of all time at Sazze. 10:00 PM CT Showtime 2 West
