Quickfire Challenge – Make a meatball for Kelis. Except chefs are given meats to pick from, but must use a hand grinder to turn into ground. That shaved a LOT of time off for some, but all chefs seem to have made a good meatball.

Sue – Spicy Pork Meatball, Spicy Tomato Sauce – Sue put some cheese in the middle, and Kelis dug it.

George – Chicken and Short Rib Meatball, Spicy Tomato Broth – She found it not to her liking. George gets no milkshake.

Alex – Spicy Lamb Meatball, Toasted Fruit and Almond Couscous – He served it with the bowl sitting on a bed of uncooked lentils. She liked it, but was unhappy with the lentils. What? Who cares about the part you aren’t eating!

Floyd – Fried Beef and Bacon Meatball Sandwich with Asian Slaw She finds it to be too salty, but chose to eat it without the bread. Because that’s how everyone eats a sandwich.

Traci – Tarragon Chicken Meatball Consomme – Not a good looking dish, but it seemed to taste good. Kelis senses some dill, but it was just fennel.

Mary Sue – Turkey Albondugas Soup with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds and Machego Cheese – MS seems to have forgotten the vinegar, but no matter, it worked pretty well.

John – Vietnamese Chicken Meatball – Kelis thought it was fantastic.

Suvir – Indian Spiced Meatball, Tamarind Glaze – Nice sweet and spicy combo.

Unibrow – Lamb Merguez, Shiitake Slaw and Yogurt – She likes it, but not the yogurt, which Unibrow bristles from a bit since that’s the way you are supposed to eat it.

Botton ThreeGeorge, Floyd and Unibrow

Top ThreeSue, John and Suvir. John wins with his simple meatball, and Sue really could have used that win, as it turns out.
