Christmas? That’s right. Christmas. It’s November, so the Christmas television programming has already started. The Hallmark Channel is always way more on the ball than I am with my shopping. Tonight they start it off with Love’s Christmas Journey, a story they promise will inspire “love, trust and Christmas miracles.”

4. Freedom Writers. This is an amazing film of an amazing teacher that refused to give up on her inner city students. She taught them the similarities between their plight and that of Anne Frank’s, and through that, inspired them to write in journals of their own. It’s just an amazing story of an educator, played by Hilary Swank. 1:30 PM CT TNT

5. Figure Skating: ISU Grand Prix. Skate Canada International from Mississauga, Ontario. 2:00 PM CT NBC

6. College Football. Army at Air Force. 2:30 PM CT CBS

7. College Football. Purdue at Wisconsin. 2:30 PM CT ABC

8. Horse Racing: Breeders’ Cup. World Championships from Louisville, Kentucky. 2:30 PM CT ESPN

9. Juno. There’s something really enticing about this as it’s how teenagers really are. It’s so … real. Starring Ellen Page and Michael Cera, and written by Diablo Cody, it was up for numerous Oscars, and won one for Cody with her very first screenplay. 5:00 PM CT Oxygen

13. Cops. In the first half hour, officers locate a suspect and a bag of drugs under a house, and go after a motorcyclist accused of domestic violence. In the second half hour, a wanted man is found thanks to an anonymous complaint, and officers follow up on a report of kids spray painting an electrical box. 7:00 PM CT Fox

14. Love’s Christmas Journey. Inspired by Janette Oke’s award-winning Love Comes Softly book series, the World Premiere is an inspiring tale of love, trust and Christmas miracles starring Sean Astin as the Mayor, Bobby Campo as Erik, Natalie Hall as Ellie King, Dylan Bruce as Deputy Michael Strode, Ryan Wynott as Christopher, Greg Vaughan as Sheriff Aaron Davis, Jada Facer as Annabelle, JoBeth Williams as Mrs. Thompson and Charles Shaughnessy as Mr. Weaver.
