This is shaping up to be an interesting custody battle. Not that Amanda Stanton of Bachelor in Paradise is talking, as it’s not her style. Regardless, we don’t know where she stands with the issue as she is being forced into it by her ex-husband, Nick Buonfiglio.
Nick is claiming in court documents that he deserves more time with the two little girls he shares with Amanda, who are two and four years old. He claims that while she’s been working on The Bachelor and The Bachelor in Paradise this year she’s been leaving them in daycare, but now he’d like to be able to contribute to their care more.
In addition to that, he’s also griping about the money, but that’s not too much of a surprise. He says she is now making $20,000 a month working on the shows and promoting them and notes she only made $100 a year before that. It’s unclear what job she had before that was paying her such a pittance.
Regardless, because of her newly improved income, Nick now wants Amanda to pay him child support, which if he gets custody of the girls more often would make sense. And if she is combining incomes with Josh Murray now that they’re engaged, he must have been getting similar money from ABC.
If the two end up getting married on ABC as other Bachelor couples have done, that’s even more money for them. Or they could also get a spinoff series like Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell and their new series Happily Ever After.
Amanda has agreed to mediation with Nick, but it would be interesting to see what her side of this story is.
