While it’s nearly the middle of September already it seems early for the Dancing with the Stars season premiere. Summer just went by too fast. If you’re not able to be in front of the TV Monday night to watch it and don’t want to wait to catch it on demand, don’t despair. ABC is going to stream the premiere live.
That’s exciting news, and I really think we keep making more and more strides toward having all our TV, music, and movies be streamable. It’s definitely the wave of the future.

ABC is promising that the premiere will have “the largest scale opening number ever.” They’ve been doing that the past few seasons, having huge opening numbers that move from several outside locations to the inside. Who knows what to expect this time?
Also of note is that Vanilla Ice and his pro partner Witney Carson will be dancing the cha cha to “Ice Ice Baby,” his theme song. While we all knew they’d be going there eventually, it is a surprise that they’re doing it so soon.
Not to be outdone, Ryan Lochte will be doing the foxtrot with Cheryl Burke to the song “Call Me Irresponsible.” While this isn’t his theme song, it very well should be.
The other stars this season include Jake T. Austin, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Marilu Henner, Laurie Hernandez, James Hinchcliffe, Calvin Johnson Jr., Terra Jolé, Jana Kramer, Maureen McCormick, Rick Perry, and Emma Slater.
